Yeah, which wasn't a very intensive part of the game. I think we've yet to see the real difference between pc and console.

Not weighing in on either side of the discussion (looking at the gameplay vids and stuff my impression is that the graphics are objectively "good" but sterile and pedestrian for the level of tech we have today), but I just thought that was a weird line of reasoning.

He compared Dragon Age 3 to a crappy last gen game in terms of graphics.

I'm just saying that he compared Dragon Age 3 to Dragon Age Origins (a bad graphical game) you would see that the newest game clearly has better.

He brought up the comparison, not I.

He said it looks like a next-gen game.

Which is a fair assessment. Nothing about the level of graphical detail we've seen thus far strikes me as being above the level of graphical detail we saw from the last-gen consoles.

I don't see how it being better looking than DA😮 contradicts that.

The updated 360 pad controls were pretty good imo

I personally think the second game controls was a massive improvements in regards to the first game. I didn't find them to be a massive annoyance.

Playing on Pc btw.

I played 2 on a computer and it was pretty awesome. The repetitive map and lack of travel just made 2 small but the story was awesome and the characters were amazing.

Eamon was a sleavy politician who exploited his adopted son in a bid for power.

Eamon only put Alistair forth as he was the only real Theirin left. Arnora was only Queen through marriage and Loghain held all the real power. So the only logical choice was Alistair. Also Eamon points out how he doesn't want people to think he's trying to seize power for himself and doesn't actually gain any bonuses. He's already an Arl, which iirc is the third most powerful title in Ferelden after King and Teryn.
