Say what you want about Eamon, but Anora was a straight up ****.

She was. I got her and Alistair to marry though as it worked best for Ferelden. And I already had my Godling baby with Morrigan.

I did the same thing lol

Same.

I think I had him marry Anora as well, though I also had him screw Morrigan while my character watched through a crack in the door and fap'd relentlessly.

Seeing Alistair's confirmed-for-gay squirming and visible discomfort while Morrigan prepared to basically rape him was priceless.

😂 wow.

Graphics comparison between low and ultra on pc:

Game's getting good reviews. Looking pretty strong.

I think it's really encouraging that they lifted the embargo this early, unlike another game that's getting completely savaged in some places that refused to do the same.

I was tempted. I almost watched the first hour of gameplay. But I can hold out. 6 more days. Nnnnnng.

9 for me, being a European. Tempted to try a VPN, as Origin doesn't mind it in these cases, but i'm afraid I'd **** it up.

I'm looking forward to this game.

The first Dragon Age was one of the only games where I went past 60 hours of gameplay and still played it.

No such thing.

I've heard that the PC version of this is really crappy, and that the controls were pretty much built from the ground up around using a controller.

I actually hated DA 2 with a deep furious passion, the combat bored me so horribly that I have not played it since I first got it. I hope this one is better.

I've seen a few videos where they use PC controls. They look fine to me, but that's me.

I liked that the combat was faster, but it did lose a lot of the "thinking" that the first game had. I'm hoping that the videos I've seen so far are indicative of an improvement in that area.

in 2, I thought he dialogue and story were still pretty decent, so it was a worthwhile game for me.

The one thing I wish they brought back I don't think they did. I liked the cinematic finishing moves in Origins. Like how a Dual Wield Rogue would stab them in the gut with one blade, and cut their head off with the other. Or a Heavy Weapon Warrior would swing so hard they get flipped over.

yeah, I don't think we have those either, and I love those.

another thing I used to enjoy was how as a mage in 2, I had a melee attack if enemies got close enough. it didn't do great damage or anything, but I liked using the staff the odd time to smack someone in the face.

Pleasantly surprised by the reviews. This may be the second next-gen game that is actually good.

Crappy in what way? Is it a bad port or are the controls just bad? Hopefully, the latter as I'll be using a controller regardless.

I need to get around to doing my playthroughs of the first two, get that full experience. Not in a huge rush to play at same time as everyone else, so put it off for a while.
