Dragon Age 3

I am absolutely livid with this text based mini-game the Dragon Age Keep has called the Last Court. It leaves me limited to twenty actions that don't replenish 'til after twenty minutes for EACH ONE. I can get them all back automatically if I pay real money but **** that.

I waited and tried building my character up in preparation for the arrival of the Divine coming to judge me and my rulership but as the week passed, I got bored and the Chantry lady shows up randomly as I was about to go hunt a bereskarn to boost my trophy stat after slaving over increasing my derring-do. Needless to say, this ticked me off.

So I invited a forest spirit to ruin everything.

I played that thing for 15 minutes. Then I said f*ck it. Real Dragon Age in a few days.

I'm going to fake my death, leave in my will that I want my family to pay for your plane ticket to attend, lock you in the room and force you to listen to them reveal spoiler after spoiler...after...spoiler.

😂

Watch some videos, play some minigames, get 3 unique weapons in-game:

took me all of ten mins.

Taking me forever. Reached the Inquisitor part but the video for it won't play.

Try different browsers. If youre signed in it saves your progress.

Screw it. Getting unique flame weapons pre-ordering Inquisition anyway.

lol. Well just in case you change your mind, this is what they look like:

Played about 3 hours of it. It totally has the same feel as Origins and not Dragon Age 2.

I like how they added a crafting system and I think I'm going to enjoy the Inquisition aspect of it. Also, just from the first area of the game, you can tell how expansive this game will be.

The graphics are very good and voice acting top notch like usual. It took me a few hours to get used to the movement (had to rebind strafe to A and D and used the camera to move around).

While it was kind of annoying that your decisions were not transferred to the third game but I will admit that Dragon Age Keep was done extremely well and in fact, reminded me what when on the previous games/DLC.

I need advice.

Although Mass Effect had it's saves stored online, did Dragon Age do the same?

Because I played through all the Dragon Ages, but do not have them on my computer now. I would like to import my character, so I want to decide if I should replay through the first two before getting Inquisition.

Also, I feel like I am currently mixing up a lot of Dragon Age lore with the Witcher lore...

No. Dragon Age Inquisition while on current gen systems and PC, made the jump to next gen as well. They wouldn't be able to transfer that so to make it fair for everyone, they made the Keep.

Just type in Dragon Age Keep and it takes you to the site where you pick and choose everything you essentially did in Origins, DA 2 and all the DLC's. Then it uploads that particular save into your game through your Origins account.

And since you're making the choice, you don't have to make the exact choice you made in the game. Say you went with the werewolves in Origins. You could go for the Elves if you wanted or made peace between them.

And you get a really good rundown on all the story elements that you may have missed. And the Keep was done very well.

One thing that I missed is the ability to change weapons on the fly. In Origins, you could bring out a bow and snipe from distance (let's say fighting a dragon) but change to melee weapons if they get too close.

In the third, you have to go into the inventory screen and select the other weapon. For a rogue, that means you can't be both dual wield and archer very effectively.

I think the reason for that is because with so much emphasis on character class, you wouldn't be very effective shooting arrows for 1-5 damage per shot when all of your skill points are in dual wielding.

Not sure, and I didn't know that but I will miss the option. But BioWare seems to have gotten back on track so that one small thing won't break the game for me probably.

That is true. Oh well.

Going through the massive Hinterland area. I'm getting a Skyrim vibe from it. Just tons of stuff to do. I keep on thinking I have all the quests found and then more just start popping up.

I'm liking the game but I really haven't gotten into it. I'm still getting comfortable with the mechanics for some reason.

I just picked it up today. So far it's a pretty good game, and I'm really surprised to be honest. After playing DA2 I didn't expect to be buying part 3 as quickly as i did, but with all of you guys raving about it, it was difficult to remain in that stance. Glad I took a chance on it.
