Also if your timing is right you've got a good chance to deflect pretty much any projectile.

lol knight enchanter is broken as it is. That armor is just overkill.

I thought so. but i'm working to get more fade silverite so I can outfit my tanks with it.

What's broken about Knight Enchanter?

basically:

If built right, it's virtually unkillable and has decent DPS.

for me, during combat im constantly building barrier AND guard just by fighting. I went up against a level 16 rift by myself, and only ran in to trouble when a revenant and those weird skeletal demons kept knocking me off my feet.

the one part of the game im currently trying to figure out is the best perks to get. some are borderline useless, while some are really good.

yup. though I will say I prefer going intangible just before something hits me so that it goes right through me. it's even better when it's someone melee, and their animation carries them right on top of me. then I rematerialize, and they have a BAD day.

Bought this for Xbox one. Will get to play it soon. Its going to be my first DA. I'm hyped.

So me and Blackwall just killed the dragon in hinterlands while level ten. 😐

My other two companions (Solas and Iron Bull) were killed early on.

It IS the weakest one lol

Still, level 10. And I got level 15 gear. KE is so broken. Blackwall is as well though. He died once, but once he built up armor I honestly could have probably turned off my TV and come back a few hours later to a dead dragon.

At first, I didn't know what to think about this game.

I had some surgery and I couldn't play it for a bit but I went back and enjoying it a lot. I think once I realized it's different than the first two and it's own game I started to like it better.

I'm like 15 hours in and I'm just finishing up most of the quests in Hinterland. This game feels ****ing massive.

So I picked up this game as I was sick a couple of days ago.

Almost level 10 now.

Holy shit....

This is the best Dragon Age, by far.

And probably the best game I played since... Mass Effect 3.

The only thing I feel like they should've imported into the DA was the way how in Mass Effect, during dialogues, you could left click or right click the mouse in order to have paragon or renegade actions.

Anyway, I didn't really get much after Skyhaven, but I'll put in the spoilers.

Spoiler:
The whole invasion of Haven... The 'hero trudging through the snow' part. The way I smirked and uttered a whimsical line as I hit the trebuchet and screwed that ugly mofo.

And when they began to sing that Chantry song?

RIGHT IN THA FEELS

What I love most about this game, is that it takes a while to level up but at the same time I never really feel like I'm grinding.

I HATE grinding.

I also hate a lot of quests being piled up atop of you, but DA:I does it in such a manner that I love it.

The whole way of getting 'power' to progress through story and open areas, and then being able to get the power through either completing quests, closing rifts, or setting up camp in new areas is amazing.

I never feel forced or like I have to do something. If I'm at a point when I need power, I'm going to decide from a multitude of quests or tasks and perform the one I want.

Anyway, on to the main reason I came here!

Ares, I need your help. And anybody else who knows.

I'm about to choose my specialization, I'm a level 10 Mage.

I like to fade step and shiet, and I've been wanting to go Knight Enchanter.

However, I've been reading online that it's so overpowered that it gets boring. That it takes away immersion out of the game. That you're basically just spamming 1. I want your feed back on this. Should I go Knight Enchanter, or is it boring?

I honestly don't mind it, but maybe with the patch coming up, it'll get a nerf. Supposedly one of the Rogue exploits is, so maybe.

i'm not bored with it, but that's me. why not save it, respect to try it out, and then load if you don't like it?

So I just saw my first sex scene...

Spoiler:
It was with Cassandra, and fair balls to Bioware, they didn't chicken out like they have in previous games. I had read the MPAA rating about the game, but I honestly didn't think they'd be as willing to show as much as they did. It's not porn, but it's still a real step up from previous games.

Is it Witcher bush level?

😂

I haven't gotten that far in the witcher, so I have no idea. No bush, though.

I looked it up. It seemed extremely tame with pretty much no nudity. No humping, nothing. With just a slight camera angle adjustment, the scene could almost pass for a PG or PG-13 movie.

It only shows a bit of nips for you youngins looking.

I was comparing it to previous bioware games (DA0/DA2/ME series). Tame by your standards (and mine)? Sure. A definite leap forward for Bioware though, imo.

What? Seriously level 10? Wow. I could only get it down to 30% health and then I had to retreat because half of my team were wiped out. I'm playing as a Rogue though, so I may not be as powerful as your character is. I just like the agile characters, with the traps, poison, and dual wielding. I also picked the Rogue because they were so OP in the first two games. They feel somewhat nerfed down in this one.

Just bought the game. You guys better not have been lying to me about the quality!

There are certain class combinations that, when synced with certain trees, make the game a lot easier. KE alone for example, isn't nearly as broken by itself as it is when you sync it up with certain abilities in certain trees.

They are patching things, so we'll see what happens, but either way, I really don't think being able to exploit the combat system hurts the game as much as some might say.

Enjoy it. Just remember to use the keep beforehand, and when you get 4 power in the Hinterlands, don't wait too long to leave and go do story missions. Seriously.

Anyone playing it on the old consoles?

Sorry, no. PC for me.

Question?

Nah Im just kinda broke wanted to get it for PS4.
Atm Im forced to play on 360.
Wondering if it runs without any problem and how are the graphics?
