LOL they were ending the teen titans because of the new 52. The entire series was PIS, It was so poorly written that superboy clones were getting stabbed by Kryptonite knives by street levelers. Not surprised with Blue stooping to carver's territory of low balling.
Sure, I understand, against superman or superboy prime anything is game.

The clones were of Match, himself a Superboy clone, and one of limited intelligence.

The street levelers you're talking about were Slade's daughter, Rose and, if memory serves correctly, Damian, Bruce Wayne's own son, who despite his young age, was trained by the League of Assassins.

Why, with the element of surprise, would such adept people NOT be able to take out relatively slow-witted beings specifically vulnerable to the weapons they wield?

whether or not he makes significant use of superior speed capability, which he generally doesn't, and whether or not SBP follows any real strategy or even possesses awareness of opponents using such against him, which, judging from this next entry, is another "no".
