Not really. Helspont was playing with Grifter. Grifter didn't actually KO him or anything, but in result, Grifter now knows some of his limits, which is good.
Helspont one-shot Superman with a blast when they first met, and backhanded him from the Earth to the Moon, casually, into unconsciousness, the second time, both times calling him the most powerful being on Earth, just to make a point.
One of his 'heralds' with a very small part of his power was powerful enough to one-shot Martian Manhunter, who is a beast in the DCnU.
He'd push Annihilus' shit in, hard.
