How do you surprise a guy who can think at the speed of light? Its a speed feat because if speed had nothing to do with it, Flash would have seen the finger coming at him in sloooow motion. Surprise or not, he should have been comfortably able to move out the way.
But he didn't. Because he couldn't. Because the finger was just that fast.
Just like a preoccupied Grundy was able to pimp slap a Flash. Great reflexes for the win.

lol. Could you at least TRY to use an example that actually applies?
As usual, no? Okay then, never mind.

Neither Mon-El nor SBP where in "ghost form" when they were in the phantom zone.
Meh, sbp sucks anyways...
But the stories I've read, did have Mon El as an immortal, intangible ghost, unable to interact with the normal world.. (And it's called the "Phantom Zone". 😛 )
World of Krypton, and the story leading up to that that establishes Chris Kent goes into some detail on the effects of the Phantom Zone.

? Isn't that a given?Being powered by the sun is as much a part of the character as wearing a cape, or being able to fly..
I don't know if it is a given since a lot of characters have changed power wise. I think it would be amazing to make him more powerful rather than him being powered by solar energy. Would take away from some of his weaknesses. Also, there isn't confirmation of him being weak against magic either.

When the JLA were BFRed into the Phantom Zone, they were ghosts.
Originally posted by cdtmOf course they can't interact with the physical world, they're in a different dimension.

They have shown to not be ghosts in the PZ.
Oh yeah, didn't see the bit about being in the Zone..

Yup, a big difference.
Not that big a difference, you're both still humans so pretty much limited by human level reaction speeds. Maybe the boxer's at the upper end of this human level, but he is still, only human.
So to use your analogy, Flash and Superman were shown to be in the same tier, but Flash would be at the upper level of that tier. Still a speed feat for Superman, as it establishes him as being in that tier.

If I tried to punch the best boxers in the world they would dodge most if not every one.
