Yeah that wasnt caught off guard. He saw them, saw the shot coming, saw the net, failed to react or budge an inch. The same goes for Bill, and probably others for all I know. He's meant to be a bullet timer right? If he had human speed than maybe getting caught by a slow projectile would work, but not a vamp thats supposed to be over 30 times faster than a human.

Then theres the dozens of enemies that can, and have, one-shotted soldiers like nothing that Link casually defeats.. which includes beating groups at a time, being able to canonly slice through thick armour and being able to one-shot enemies. Not to mention the whole Goron race and their top tiers that realise and fall to Link's strength (and dont go bringing up the Boots thing, because he can defeat them normally without using them)

Theres about 90 types of character/species in this game. 30 are things someone with human strength can beat or match. The 60 others would stomp anyone without a high level of strength.... are those the peers that show Link being portrayed as ?

Not really. Russ is portrayed as being faster than the other vamps, correct? And we have Eric (3rd or 4th strongest vamp?) in a vital, important instance being caught by a human firing off a net.. So by this, the vampires Russ is faster than cant even dodge or react to a flying net? Its been a while, so besides being at least as fast as nets to blitz vamps, how fast is Russ again?

I think you missed the part where Link is in-game stated to have gotten much stronger since the days of stopping a massive goat. And do tell, what do you think would happen if you were to apply car stopping strength to a horses neck? 😐

Link can die though in the game. He can survive attacks from Hyrulians. I never said he couldn't but he isn't surviving Russell's attacks.

I am not saying he won't ever get caught off guard. We won't see these guys above bullets in every instance since that makes for boring television. The point is they are so fast humans can't even see their actions with the naked eye. Russell has moved well over 50 feet up to a human and disarmed him before he even could see what was happening. Russell is too fast for Link. Russell is too strong for Link. Russell is too ruthless for Link.

He can control what level of strength he uses but it shouldn't require any real effort but the game makes it clear it does.

Dorf wasn't accessing the power triforce at the time nor do I think he's that powerful without directly accessing it. Link's strong yes but nowhere near the portrayal that Russell is on.

If you say his bare hands wreck Russell you need to prove it with an example. Anything else is just wishful thinking.

Russell's much stronger than Gorons. His strength feats also prove this

well i will say link can beat the elder goron(sumo match) without iron boots buts its tough as hell...and without the boots he can't stop a goron but he can slow one down...and look at the giant spike ball...link can throw it at enemys...can knock beast ganon in the head with it which knocks him down...im sure link has more strengh feats but i can't remember at the moment

He does. He tossed the giant goron Dangoro, and overpowered Ganon in a sword clash.
