Show me a canon instance Goron killing Link then. An impossible task as Link has never canonly died, but its the only thing that can support your idea. Even better, you said this; "Link can be hurt by enemy Gorons". You've just admitted that Goron's can hurt Link. By your own words, Link can take hits from Goron's and still survive and continue fighting? Your words. And with this, how will Russell, who is obviously weaker than Goron's, be able to kill Link so easily when beings with superior strength can only 'hurt' Link?

Play the game far less can hurt Link. Link can't punch people's heads off and can't dominate his peers with his strength. Russell can and Russell can dominate strong vampires with ease. Link can't.
Same logic that says GTA humans can survive bullets and explosions, unless you support this too? Hm, if you think that gameplay is canon and portrayals are canon, doesnt that mean that the gameplay portraying him as being able to easily survive any attack the game throws at him

Link is superhuman but not to the level of Russell. Russell's portrayed as stronger and faster to the point of absurdity. Russell can easily rip through bodies whereas Link has never once done so. You need an example of Link doing so to make a valid claim not some abc nerd logic.

No one said he can't get caught off guard but against one opponent who is wayyyyy slower than him it's game over. Rips his heart out before Link realizes what is going on.
Not really. Russ is portrayed as being faster than the other vamps, correct? And we have Eric (3rd or 4th strongest vamp?) in a vital, important instance being caught by a human firing off a net.. So by this, the vampires Russ is faster than cant even dodge or react to a flying net? Its been a while, so besides being at least as fast as nets to blitz vamps, how fast is Russ again?
Yeah that wasnt caught off guard. He saw them, saw the shot coming, saw the net, failed to react or budge an inch. The same goes for Bill, and probably others for all I know. He's meant to be a bullet timer right? If he had human speed than maybe getting caught by a slow projectile would work, but not a vamp thats supposed to be over 30 times faster than a human.

Russell easily stopped the car while Link doesn't easily stop the goat. Russell could easily overpower the horse without so much as even straining himself unlike Link. Link is strong when he needs to be but isn't portrayed as super strong against his peers. Russell clearly is.
I think you missed the part where Link is in-game stated to have gotten much stronger since the days of stopping a massive goat. And do tell, what do you think would happen if you were to apply car stopping strength to a horses neck? 😐
Also, you say Link isn't portrayed to be super strong to those levels.. but have you actually proved this yet? His peers? Well there's Ganondorf who he beat in a bout of physical strength. Then theres the dozens of enemies that can, and have, one-shotted soldiers like nothing that Link casually defeats.. which includes beating groups at a time, being able to canonly slice through thick armour and being able to one-shot enemies. Not to mention the whole Goron race and their top tiers that realise and fall to Link's strength (and dont go bringing up the Boots thing, because he can defeat them normally without using them)
Theres about 90 types of character/species in this game. 30 are things someone with human strength can beat or match. The 60 others would stomp anyone without a high level of strength.... are those the peers that show Link being portrayed as ?

Link uses a sword and lifts he never destroys an enemy with his hands alone. Russell does so easily.
...I have no idea what fighting with your bare hands means when the feats are there.
