Well that's not really what Quan is doing.
See Quan had already decided before making this thread that Russell would win. To Quan it was a decision based on his own internal reasoning and logic and trying to argue against that outcome is basically the same as trying to argue against the existence of oxygen.
Based on empirical data(at least what you can gather when talking about two fictional characters) then of course Link wins and everyone who approaches the thread with that mindset will see that. But empirical data only works if a person is willing to consider it. If the person has wrapped themselves up in their own internal logic then you're not going to get anyway with them. They have decided and there is simply no reaching them. That's actually what the word "idiot" means.
What fascinates me is that with Quan it's kind of a mystery why he bothers making threads. Initially(at least from the VGVF experience) it seemed like he was interested in a genuine discussion but soon evolved into what you're arguing with today. If he already knows what the outcome will be and still makes the threads then something's up. Either he is genuinely just so dense and resolved to his way or no way that he can spend countless amounts of hours debating with someone he has no chance of actually causing second thoughts in or he is indeed trolling. Another would be a mix of both where he is genuine but goes out of his way to try and get the best reactions so that he can appear smarter than you guys.
Either way you guys have been fighting a losing battle. The one who needs helps here isn't Quan because if Quan is just going to stay in his little world where nothing can reach him then strictly speaking there is no helping him. It's you guys that need to stop because it's clearly not good for you and it just makes you look bad.
