So, I just saw MOS and it wasn't as great as I hoped it would be (much like how i felt about IM3). For one thing, Superman saving Louis Lane (I counted 3...) got old pretty fast.
The scene jumping from present to past to present was kinda neat, but was over done. It kept on going back and forth and back and forth that I got bored.
I appreciate that they wanted to make the movie epic but I felt that they tried to do to many stuff and tried to squeeze it in 2 hours that some scenes felt like it was just slapped in there or something.
The first few minutes of the fights was like "OH WOW" then "YEAH!", but then it dragged on and on and on... and again, I got bored.
I can see how MOS got a lot of mixed reviews.
All in all, IMO, it was good but not OMGWTF BEST SUPERHERO MOVIE EVER! Best Superhero Movie still goes to The Avengers.

How are these numbers compared to im3 when released in China
Not even close. Of course, this was expected due to the fact that IM3 was heavily advertised in China and was basically endorsed by it. Still MoS did beat ASM which is a good sign as ASM ended up getting over 50 mill.

Mos for me as .I said before I didnt like IM 3 cause the plot felt lame at points ending fight was ok the Pepper thing was straight up stupid the movie was about Tony Stark and pretty much lacked Iron Man.
Mos could have more Superman as well and some parts felt a little rushed.
Like Clark just learns to fly and Zod pops in instantly after it but it was definetly better movie of the two.

MOS had flaws but end of the day the action was just on another level to what we've ever seen before. It was much much better than IM3, and honestly MOS is one of the most entertaining superhero movies ever made.
I have it in my top 5 myself. TDK, BB, X-Men First Class I enjoyed a little bit more.

Agreed!
If I were to rate my top pics for comic book super hero movies to date, I'd rank them as
1. The Avengers
2. SpiderMan (not the new one...)
3. Ironman/ Batman the dark knight
4. Thor
5. MoS
6. Ironman 2
.
.
.
worst = X-men: Wolverine origins or whatever that piece of shit was/X-men 3... These two movies effectively killed the X-Men for me and I went jack sparrow on first class due to these two awful movies.
On a side note, the battles in MoS was entertaining but I was disappointed that they once again decided to make him ridiculously uber. Much like how greenlatern was stupidly uber. This is one of the things why I think it would be very hard to make a Justice League movie. I mean, come on...why would you need a league when a greenlantern or superman can just go wtf pawn anything that comes their way? most notably green lantern... he just wtf'd pawn something that the entire guardian council + all lanterns were afraid to face.

Well it's already beaten Superman Returns worldwide total at the box office. And made considerably greater profit. And it's hardly been over a week:http://movies.yahoo.com/news/man-steel-speeds-345-6m-worldwide-box-office-222442966.html
So yeah this is a financial success. There will be sequels and a JL plan being put into action no doubt.
