Early reviews are in. Apparently Hawkeye gets all of the best lines and is more or less one of the characters who is most explored in the movie.

How was he useless. Hawkeye was ****ing integral in the first Avengers. He was of great assistance to Loki, he took down the entire ****ing helicarrier by himself, and when his brainwash wared off he owned in the Battle of New York.

He was barely Hawkeye for most of the movie, which sucked and which he complained about.

Probably why he had a bigger role this time. In one of the interviews Downey alluded to them having to convince him to come back for A2.

just imagine how useless Hawkeye and Widow would look if Thor and Hulk weren't nerf'd beyond belief in these movies.

Well that's disappointing. Was hoping he wouldn't have a large role and they would kill his useless ass off and focus on the cool characters instead.

I had Avengers at 8/10, with this new revelation, it's now a 9/10.

So they are both heavily watered down too, from the sounds of things. No probability powers for SW and QS is most definitely a hell of a lot slower than the Fox version.
