Nope. And the PS5 controller is probably the most "next Gen" feeling thing about the console. Using it in a game like Returnal is really awesome.
Series X has its own features though that the PS5 doesn't. Like the quick resume feature. Probably the best feature the series X has.
As far as which console is better - Hardwarewise the Series X is more powerful. Full stop. We're starting to see the evidence of this in cross platform games now. RE8 performed better on the series X than the PS5. It's not by a huge amount, but it's there and may become more noticeable as time goes on. It also has a larger hard drive.
PS5 has the better exclusives right now. That may change in the next couple of years though, we'll have to wait and see.
PS5 has the cool controller features that the Series X is lacking.
Series X has quick resume which, once you get used to it, is really difficult to go back from.
Of course Series X has gamepass which is unparalleled value, and will only increase in value as time goes on and more exclusives get added. The fact that you can use it on the PC as well is great, as well as your phone.
Think it's hard to go wrong with either console. Both are solid and offers a good experience. The PS5 makes the better first impression and feels more next gen initially. Firing it up and playing astros playroom, Demons souls, Spiderman Miles Morales or Ratched and Clank, which looks better than any other console game available at the moment, feels like a next ben experience where as Series X doesn't really have that big "wow" inducing exclusive yet. But once you get into the series X and start playing around with gamepass, or play a cross platform game like RE8 that runs in raytracing mode at a nearly solid locked 60 fps, it's a good experience.
