$499? If I didn't get the PS3 when it was $599, I'm certainly not getting the One if it's gonna cost close to that amount. Not saying I'd buy it even if it was cheap but you know what I mean and even if I did want to get the console, it'll have to be after I get the PS4 and Wii U first. Speaking of PS4, I can only hope now Sony will make it at least $100 less than it's competitor.

To be fair, Sony did appear do that to the Saturn. Obviously that's just how it worked out, not because they changed it in response, but it did allow them to make the big scoop just after Saturn revealed its price. So if Sony IS cheaper, they've got an open goal here.
