I highly doubt the PS4 is x10 more powerful. Both of them have nearly the same architecture.
The PS4 has a more powerful GPU (50% more powerful by some accounts) and faster RAM (3 gigs of which isn't reserved for running multiple opperating systems), also there is the rumor that Microsoft had to underclock the X-Box One due to heating issues. /shrug
It's still bullshit.

Shit just got real.
Microsoft has confirmed on its official website, according to Polygon, that it has dropped DRM control with Xbox One and the need for the console to log in online every 24 hours.

Just to go over stuff:
MS Says:
An internet connection will not be required to play offline Xbox One games – After a one-time system set-up with a new Xbox One, you can play any disc based game without ever connecting online again. There is no 24 hour connection requirement and you can take your Xbox One anywhere you want and play your games, just like on Xbox 360.

3. Get rid of the 24 hr check-in crap. I'm okay with having to register your games, one time, like some PC Games require. But just one time.
MS Says:
Trade-in, lend, resell, gift, and rent disc based games just like you do today – There will be no limitations to using and sharing games, it will work just as it does today on Xbox 360....
The sharing of games will work as it does today, you will simply share the disc.

3. Just don't make it required to pay to switch the games [between owners]...
So MS listened to my complaints and it seems like they addressed them, directly (obviously, they didn't address my specific complaints and use my specific ideas, but as a consumer, it feels as though 2 out of my 3 complaints are invalidated, now).
The only thing MS needs to do, now, to fix my only remaining complaint is requiring Gold to use apps and play online.

I am willing to bet that regardless of the specs, the actual practical outcome in technical difference between the two consoles will be negligible.
Yup, this.
Don't be modest DDM. If Kishimoto visits the Naruto thread it is also possible that the higher ups of Microsoft do the same here. It was your specific complaints addressed. awesome
Not sure how to feel about this honestly. I never had any intention of getting the Xbone and was just enjoying the drama. Seeing Microsoft actually grow up is somewhat heartwarming but honestly they're just doing it because the pre-order sales must have blown ass.
