Anakin is more powerful than Kenobi. After all Sids was never interested in Kenobi now was he?
He just wasn't powerful enough(mentally and physically) on the day to defeat Kenobi. So Sids rightly pointed out that Yoda would have tooled him.
In any case you have to take a conversation between 2 Sith Lords (one whose life just got destroyed) with a pinch of salt.
Obi Wan proved to be the master,whether he was powerful enough or not
he was smarter than Anakin and proved better than Anakin.It is what it is
Anakin and Sids under estimated ObiWan.We all did.Who better to take down Vader/Anakin same person than the man who trained him?
If I trained a person and he turned to the dark side who better than me
should go after my padawan and bring him to the light or kill him.
Anakin/Vader did become a serious threat,killing younglings...
After Vader lost his limbs,Powerful he is not.....
The Force gave Obi Wan the means to take down Vader....
