The
Spoiler:is reminiscent of Gus going into shock when Max was murdered by Hector Salamanca. And the previous episode, in which Walt panics when Jesse phones him about the money is also similar to Gus' kneejerk reaction when Tuco seemed to have talked to the DEA(although Gus maintained a calmer demeanor about it).
Hank death scene where Walt falls to the ground in shock
I have officially changed my stance: Walter White indeed became the new Gus Fring.
that episode was just an emotional roller coaster.. what a f*cking ride it was.. this is Heisenberg in full swing.. there is no walt, only Heisenberg..
I was so relieved to see the aftermath of that shoot-out.. that was righteous.. the way asac schraeder
Spoiler:this episode was one of the best, if not THE best, television programming today.. this show's writers are geniuses..
was shot by uncle jack, the way walter told Jessie about jane, marie not knowing about hank, jr knowing everything about his father..

Good eye, man.
Particularly on the Poolside shenanigans comparison.

Thats what the getting in the van at the end represented, I think. (The final descent)
Saving his family from suspicion was Walter White's last act, I think.
When we next see him, its probably gonna be, as you say, 100% Heisenberg.
I agree. This series is a pure gold, true masterwork magnum opus as pure as the meth that Walt cooked.

Maybe its all been a polarizing experience and the tragedy will be that Walt returneth, only having lost nearly everything he sought to protect....(especially if Skyler, and Walt jnr end up getting hit by the Aryans) and his mission of vengence is a relatively righteous one. He did seem to be lamenting with getting his 52 birthday bacon alone in the 'future' scenes...
I see it going down either one of those two ways.

That reminds me. Does that mean, quite clearly, that Walt made it well past the "6 months to live" idea that has been a staple for motivation and justification these past few episodes?
Awesome Episode!! Start to finish was a roller coaster of a emotions
I read that that phone call he made was some of the best acting on TV ever.
Oh and Walt's Pants from the First Season made a cameo:

He probably just wills the cancer into remission.
