I don't know, as it didn't happen. But did it actually put him down? It ends with him falling off a building but it doesn't say if he was KO'd.But getting Mjolner'd (If that's Mjolner) in the face Is not the same as being cut by a chi sword. Has someone posted the Chi attack yet? Or at least some episode information so I can find it?
I'll look around Youtube, but basically, Jack makes a speech about how his swords power is infinite, stands in one spot while a beam shoots down from the heavens, and his swords starts glowing from the amp. Then he cuts down the previously uncuttable robot using his base strength in one attack.
The robots are not anywhere close to true Adamantium level, imo. But the gods are also skyfather level beings, so an amp from them should be pretty effective (And keep in mind one of those beings easily destroyed the unstoppable Minions of Set.)

B) How would it effect Wolverine aside from cutting him?

If it can't cut his adamantium bones, it should be just a normal cut.

I can't find any good videos that don't have music attached, or show the full powerup scene in normal motion, but skip to the end and you should get a good idea that this isn't an instant powerup. The robot just stood there and let Jack pray to his gods.
Is Logan enough of an egomaniac to allow the same thing? 😄

So if it would just be a normal cut then what is the point of the feat?
Increase his cutting power. The Ultrabots were resisting Jacks normal attacks. He's cut through everything from stone pillars the size of redwoods while running past them (So no big swing) to robots the size of a house without even straining.

But there's nothing to suggest it would cut Adamantium.
Nope.
I'm not saying they'd cut it. But as the sword was Skyfather amped, and Skyfather level power has damaged things like Caps shield, it's not an impossible feat either.
It's just not provable via cutting the Ultrabots. 😉
But I'm not trying to argue he'd cut his bones anyways. He doesn't really need to, any more then folks like Gorgon or Mr. X did.

Personally, I was under the impression that it was a permanent amp on Jack, not a one time thing, but I suppose I have no method of proving that this is the case. Then again, I also wasn't one of those debating that particular feat.

I saw it more as a one time boon from the gods.
And you could argue Aku's empowering the ultrabots was a factor. They gave Jack's father the means to defeat Aku on their own, since in epic tales that's what gods do.. Aku found a way to skirt around that with indestructible metal, so the gods went "nuh uh" and restored the status quo.
Basically, in myths gods never do for man, what man could do for themselves, so you only see them getting involved to give them a sword that could banish ultimate evil, or destroy the unstoppable Minions of Set... (And then ignore Jacks request for a time portal).

Well, the thing is, if he can't cut through adamantium with the powerup, then having it or not having it doesn't really change the fight.
Seeing he could cut through just about anything else normally.

Now you are trying to put Jack's featless deities on par with the Serpent?
