Avengrs
Batman begins
MoS

Combining DC & Marvel movies together - and sticking to mainstream superheroes only (No Watchmen or V for Vendetta, etc.) my list would be something like...

The Avengers = A+
Batman Begins/The Dark Knight (tie) = A+
Iron Man = A
Superman (1978)= A (Getting a little dated, but still a classic. Especially the first third of the film.)
Thor = A-
X-Men 2 = A-
Spider Man 2 = A-
Captain America: The First Avenger = A-
The Dark Knight Rises = B+
Iron Man 3 = B+

That's what I think for a Top Ten, right now.

I'm still brooding over Man Of Steel, having watched it last night. I think I have to see it again to examine how that narrative flowed again, the jumps they made. Lots of things I did like, like how the relationship between Clark and Lois is a much deeper bond now. But Zack Snyder doesn't know when to stop with the excess, in the climax. And making a serious film by using a lot of hand held camera shots pushed the film into Cloverfield territory, it shook so much.

Still thinking about it; B - B+ territory, right now.

Right now they are. Yeah.

Just the feeling I got when I finally watched all the heroes assembled(no pun intended) made it #1 for me. Though the movie has flaws and is far from "Perfect" like some like to think. The first 40 minutes bored the hell out of me, but then movie kicks into high gear and becomes so satisfying I forget about those minutes. its kind of unfair because of all the buildup it had.

Batman Begins is the definite origin story IMO. It did everything right(except the fighitng scenes...these sucked. Nolan sucks at action)

Man of Steel is in the same ballpark as Batman Begins but with a few more flaws.

Dark Knight is overrated as hell and rises had far too many plotholes for me.

Action wise they'd go

Man of Steel
Avengers

Rest don't even come close.

Agreed on Dark Knight, at least.

Decent list.

Mine would be...

1. TDK
2. Watchmen
3. '89 Batman
4. Hulk (Ang Lee's)
5. X-Men 2

Batman Begins
Iron Man
Watchmen

Are my top three. If anyone disagrees that these three aren't the best and most solid SH films, then you're simply wrong. Don't be wrong.

If I can only pick five? Not in order:

Superman 2 (Donner Cut)
Batman Returns
Man of Steel
Avengers
Blade 2

Interesting. What did you like about Ang Lee Hulk that made it top 4? Movie usually gets torn apart by fans.

X2 was good, but IMO it kind of lacks nowadays. Back then it was the shit and was among my favs. I gotta admit Singer and Raimi helped to create the comic book festival we have right now.

If I had to make it a top 10 it would be something like:

1. Avengers
2. Batman Begins
3. Man of Steel
4. Spider-Man 2
5. The Dark Knight Rises
6. The Dark Knight
7. Iron Man
8. Thor
9. X-Men 2
10. Superman 2/Batman Returns. They just owned my childhood.

The Dark Knight... best movie ever
Batman Begins
Avengers
Man of Steel

there are more but I don't want to be here all day

Some movies might go up and down and others would join the list, but it mostly depends on my mood and how I remember them at the time.

I just picked the ones that I can enjoy with repeated viewings the most.

top 5. (not ordered)

Spider-Man 2
Iron Man
Blade 2
TDK
MoS

V for Vendetta got bumped.

Haven't seen Blade 2 in ages, but it was good. Not a big fan of Blade though.

you're a racist and a specist.

Excellent story/telling of Hulk. Acting was great. Effects were top-notch..and the Hulk...the Hulk was a hulk. He felt like a real monster that had a bottomless pit of power the angrier he got. It also felt more like a comic book movie.

We didn't get that from the next 2 Hulks. He was just a monster.

Everyone I know, outside of KMC, really liked the '03 Hulk, too.

Decent list, still. There is no crappy movie in your list. 😄

I like X-2, even still, quite a bit.

Not to get off topic, but X-2 can die in a fire for all I care.

LoL

We know PR...we know.

Enlighten me in the appropriate thread and link to it, in here. I'm curious (I won't argue...just want to read a different perspective).

I can summarise it in four words:

I'm a Cyclops fan.

No further explanation needed. 😛
