The remainder of the film series should have this guy showing up in cameo in every film, ranting on a news program, wanting Superman to reimburse him for his deductible and lost wages.

There will be some serious plotholes.

How will Ma Kent and Clark explain/justify the kryptonians landing on her farm? And Lois was also terrible...screaming "Claaaaark! " When Superman was standing there with ma kent.

Yeah. A police officer gave Lois a ride to Ma Kent's farm. Superman is standing there hugging Ma and Lois runs out screaming "Claaaaaaaaaaaaark!" while the officer stays behind(not too far though) and people knew Lois knew who Superman is and/or his whereabouts.

if they had read Lois' mind before that, it's not a plothole because they knew where Clark grew up.

They seemed to know where he was from the start surely. Their first space ship that broadcast Zods message came down right in front of the Kent farm iirc.
