That is a bit unfair if you ask me.Smallville sucks. Stop talking about it.
That's your opinion, I noticed that a lot of people who liked MOS didnt like smallville, personally I loved the series minus the end episode (sucked balls) or has little appreciation for the past supermen movies and series'.
I think its a generational thing. Smallville is old school this new superman is what the new generation likes that's all I think.

Smallville is just shit.

When supes is standing underneath the world engine and about to lift off the ground, Reeves face gets superimposed over cavill's. It was incredible, if you want proof just look it up online.

Yeah they should just spend their whole budget on having the best flying scenes. Just like Superman Returns did 👆
Don't know if you're being sarcastic or not but for me, there really was no "Wow Factor" in MOS when it came to Supes' flight sequences.
A lot of long distance shots of Supes in flight didn't really do him justice. Whereas in Returns, there was some scenes where Superman literally took up the entire screen.

lolWhat was wrong with his flying?
Do I really have to answer this question?
Just look at every superman picture before this one. His flying was not elegant, his posture was awful. Two hands straight forward at full speed all the time. Even Zod left the ground elegantly with a nice posture when he first started to fly. He’s breaking the ground like he is Hancock, most of all his facial expressions when he was flying.
I know he just learned how to fly in the last 23 minutes of the movie. That is a constant reminded that I had to watch 2 hours of movie that did not feature superman. People complain about superman returns not throwing one punch and then they make a movie with you only see superman for 23 minutes.
The more I talk about this movie the less I start to like it as a superman movie.

Yeah it was so subtle that a lot of people missed it. The rumors were going around back in january so im pretty sure it was Reeves face. Some people at another site said they saw it, I only caught it the second time around.

No, they can do what they did in MOS:
• Show superman for 23 minutes in which:
o 3 minutes is spent on him learning how to fly
o 10 minutes is spent on him fighting
o 5 minutes on him talking to humans, his dad and kissing Lois
o The last 5 minutes is spent on him having Zod in a choke hold before breaking his neck and screaming.
Show some action on Kryton and spend the rest of the movie showing a moping Clark with some flashbacks of his life.
Or they could have made things much more balance as they did in the original superman.

Wouldn't have it any other way 👆
Well I hope in the sequel that they actually show why Superman is "the" superhero everyone rallies behind. I mean as cool as MoS was, we didn't really get to see a reason why people should even like Supes: saving the planet aside.hts scenes...
Also a little less CGI would work wonders IMO...c'mon what's wrong with a few stuntmen performing some of those fights?
