I was wondering that myself. Groot did most of asskicking from the looks of it, never knew he's so tough.

Groot's brief showing against Thanos is like ten twenty times better than anything Colossus has done. The simple fact that he was allowed to do what he did propels him way past Colossus' tier.

Never in the history of ever will you see Colossus take the lead over Hulk or engage someone like Thanos the way Groot did. I can't even picture it in my head, Colossus has just been established as C-list for too long.

IIRC, he also has pretty good regeneration.

Recently, groot had a decent showing against Savage Hulk. He should be able to take Colossus after a long fight.
