Groot is about as strong as a moderately angry Savage Hulk. But Hulk would beat Groot into splinters if he got really pissed. In fact, that's just what he did to Groot when they fought back in the day. Though it should be noted the Groot of today is damn near a completely different character then the one Savage fought.

But he was weakened, had calmed down, and Colossus did get the jump on him. These are all clearly factors that played a part in that very brief victory. Colossus quit f*cking around? Lol, are you implying that he was holding back? Granted, he stopped trying to go toe to toe with the Hulk and used skill/surprise to his advantage, but it was made adamantly clear that Colossus was no match for Hulk physically. Hulk wasn't affected by Colossus' punches and layed him out with like two hits or something.
Only a moron? You're speaking out of ignorance if nothing else. Thor once layed out an opponent for a whole page, but according to the writer, he only stunned him. Not the only such situation I can recall regarding characters. The duration of time that passes in comics between panels, can be a weird thing.
If you think Hulk was knocked out for a few seconds, that's your prerogative, but someone else arguing that Hulk was only momentarily stunned/inconvenienced has just as much credibility. And for the record, you can stun someone for a lot more than a few seconds.

The entire sequence of events lasted like less than a minute (Since you enjoy quoting Colossus, I'd like to note that he came to the Hulk as fast as he could), Hulk being dazed or whatever is a very real possibility.
