lots of focus put on that avengers assembled fight with thanos. odd considering we don't even know to what extent he was f'd up by having the fake cube expelled from him..... seems like a nice piece of "that might explain things" to me. anyway, from what i've seen, this would be a pretty good fight. groot should be able to take down 'regular' colossus (obviously the current version slaughters him though....) but i wouldn't say a clean sweep would happen for either.

Colossus is no longer Juggernaut.

There does seem to be some anomaly with his powers though, or will be once he shows up again.

huh? when did THAT happen?? musta just been in the last month or 2.... i'm GLAD he's not juggs anymore. i thought it was a HORRIBLE idea from the get-go.

Yeah, about 2 months ago in Uncanny. Magik severed Demon-Colossusnaut's connection with Cyttorak with a single sword swipe 😂

True, it was horrible.

In All New X-Men, every Phoenix Host and even those close to them(Like Magneto) have been having power fluxes and even some upgrades.

Magik can summon portions of Limbo and Limbo energies to Earth now.

Cyclop's energy blasts are powerful beyond his control for the moment.

Colossus' eyes are glowing for some reason.

Emma lost her powers altogether.

And Magneto's powers have been on/off for a bit.

They haven't fully explained what happened, but basically the Phoenix energies altered them and their powers and they're still figuring out why and how.

And since it's not explained what all new or power changes they've got, I'm not sure on this fight.

Thanks. I got tired of Bendis, that's why I'm trying to stay away from this title for now.

damn, i just finished reading the consequences series and he was fine! that IS f'in lame though. he and magik visited cyttorak to try and see if he would remove the curse and they both had the pf. he STILL said no. then, without pf, on earth, she just.....severs his tie? that is ridiculous. why the hell didn't she just do that to him before? dumb. guess she could have taken marko out at any point as well then? hrm. that's....terrible if it were just that easy.

Yeah. While there are signs it could be an upgrade. In the case of Magik's insane power amp, and Cyclop's beams getting stronger.

It could be a detriment too since Magneto had his powers at full strength in one panel, then lost them for most of the comic after, then had them seemingly back to normal next issue. And Emma seemed to lose her tp as well as not even bothering to try turning to Diamond.

And that's why I'm holding off my judgement for the time being.

Cyttorak didn't release him from his bonds because Colossus caused so much destruction that he took a liking to him, as that's basically all he wants in an avatar. And in his own realm, he's even more powerful than 2/5 of the Phoenix Force.

As for why she didn't do it before, she wanted Colossus to experience what it was like to fall so far into evil and savagery because of your powers, like her with her Limbo powers. So she could prove to him that he couldn't treat her like she was his perfect little sister anymore, because she wasn't. She's a manipulative ***** and not far from plain evil.

And I doubt she could have severed Cain's link. He's been the Juggernaut for so long, even Cytorrak can't completely take the power from him.

still, MIGHT end up being cool if cyttorak were to try and somehow get revenge on magik. be cool to see him invade limbo or something. wonder who he'll choose next?

Well Cain has his powers back now, but the only book he appeared in just got a total reboot, so I'm not sure what's going on.

Yes. That realities Juggernaut was dead, so when Cain stuck his hand in there, Cyttorak sensed the familiarity and bestowed him the powers. Which would probably explain the new look.

Honestly they just f*cked up bad on that issue, and now they can't even fix it.

Eh... The Carnage symbiote Cassidy's wearing is also from alt reality. Think anyone gives a crap at this point? Just pretend things went back to normal, I know Marvel will.
