EPISODE VII
Questions I would like answered by the New Trilogy:
1. How are the Sith created? Based on movie canon we really don't know much about the Sith, are they a race? How do they get the lightning power yet Jedi (and Vader) don't?
2. What is involved in becomming a Jedi? The PT and OT don't really go into anything about "Jedi Trials", they show Anakin traveling with ObiWan and Luke running around with Yoda on his back. What is the actual training to become a Jedi, to gain and build a light saber?
3. How do the Witches of Dathomir (EU I know) fit into all of this? I just want to see a herd of Rancors being ridden by evil, purple witches.
4. What bad romance choice will the daughter of Han and Leia make? (Padme- Sith, Leia- Smuggler/Pirate, Daughter- Bounty Hunter maybe?)
5. Did the prophecy refer to Anakin as the Chosen One? Or was it Luke? Has he filled that destiny or is there still something he needs to do bring balance to the force?
If they can keep the stories heavy and serious, like the Space Opera this started off as, I think the movies could be very good. With GL not directing them, that's a good start right there.

5. George Lucas has stated that Anakin is the chosen one, simple as that.
Re: EPISODE VII
Ignoring outside movie info:
1) Can safely deduce the same way the Jedi are. They're born Force sensitive but choose/turn to the dark side.
2) This is explained clearly in the PT. Jedi Temple + force sensitive younglings + years of training and apprenticeship = full fledged Jedi.
3) -
4) -
5) Can say Anakin was since he's the one that tossed the Emperor down the shaft thereby destroying the Sith and restoring balance to the Force. Prophecy fulfilled.
We’ve devoted serious time and attention to revisiting the origins of Star Wars as inspiration for our process on the new movie, and I’m thrilled that returning to the UK for production and utilizing the incredible talent there can be a part of that. Speaking from my own longstanding connection to the UK with films like Raiders of the Lost Ark, Empire of the Sun and recently War Horse, it’s very exciting to be heading back.-Kathleen Kennedy
another nail in the PT coffin 😈
:edit: OH FFS is there any way to lift this obnixious url length restriction? anyway, its there plain as day on the official site

Here are a couple of methods:
1. Use Tiny URL: http://tinyurl.com/
2. Or use this method (quote my post to see what I did):

COOL ARTICLE BRO!!! THANKS!!!!😐
It just looked like he was providing a source for us/you. I could be wrong. I thought it was helpful because I am too lazy to google search for a string. But that's just me being a bum.

why because he has an opinion you dont like?
It's not that. I find that he acts like he's the only one who has seen Star Wars sometimes and is therefore the only one who loves it. I find it quite annoying, he thinks he's the only nerd in the village, I like his work but I no longer watch interviews with him.
I think the PT had a bunch of talented actors (McGregor, Neeson, Lee, McDiarmid, Jackson, Oz)... it also requires a good, well crafted story and ditto script and a director who does not only have a vision for the final product (which Lucas certainly had) but also for a way to make that work with the actors, considering the amount of CGI (or the choice for a certain amount of CGI).
