Yeah Thor looked superior to Hulk easily. I actually think BB came across the best.. one shotting Namor and a amped strange with ease. Pretty impressive.

Yeah, in hindsight, Black Bolt did pretty well against Thanos.

I remember Bran saying he was actually a huge Black Bolt fan. Turns out, he did give him a lot of respect in the end.

Yeah, at least Thor got beat up by Thanos instead of his minions and technically wasn't taken out like Hyperion/Hulk.

Nah, most powerful guy on The Avengers is Hulk. He's also just developed the most inconvenient weakness, he can be turned back into Banner (against his will). Hulk got taken out by that spear of Proxima Midnight's, which put the weight of a supernova star onto him.

I'm sorry Janus, but it was pretty clear that Thor was the biggest gun of that line up. Hulk only opens for Thor, the Odinson's the real star.

There wasn't much of a fight, Thanos got taken out before the Avengers could regroup (before Hulk ramped up again) and the only thing we got to see was how insignificant Thor is.

Thor tanked everything Thanos threw at him and looked fine in the end. His damage soak is incredible or Thanos can't dish out as much as he can tank.

You might as well be talking up Captain America or Captain Marvel, they were every bit as effective as Thor and indeed Captain Marvel actually did get Thanos to block (and then his head turned away to eye-beam swat Thor away).

Thor was just an angry toddler attacking a heavy weight champion.
Just like Captain America and Captain Marvel.

Hulk got plot-deviced out of it, like Thanos did eventually, but atleast it included the whole "weight of a star" thing to stop him from moving.

Yeah, Thanos sent his minions to kill the Hulk because he was so terrified after punching him away.

I gotta say, it feels pretty good knowing that even with a high end Hyperion and Hulk on the team, Thor is still the biggest gun and the one who takes on the main bad guy.

I think it was rather obvious THor was the heavy hitter of the Avengers.. Seems clear to me anyways

Thor's only way of prolonging the fight is to utilize Mjolnir's energy soak to fight Thanos at a distance. The Infinity fight went exactly as it should if he just attacked and charged, which is what happened. A CIS-less fight would be longer, but would have the same end.
