Thanos vs Thor (angry)

Just like Captain America and Captain Marvel.

Hulk got plot-deviced out of it, like Thanos did eventually, but atleast it included the whole "weight of a star" thing to stop him from moving.

You are the only angry toddler in the room. I'm a black bolt fan, but I also like both Thor and Hulk. In this scene, Thanos loosened Hulk up with a cross right and then put his minions on the "Beast."

Yeah, I like Hulk and Thor roughly the same give or take the day but it's obviously better to get some time with the main boss not the henchmen.

Question for quan or bran (hehe)

Does Thanos generally hold grudges against characters? If no, what would it take for him to remain pissed off at a character even long after said character was assumed dead?

If he thinks said character caused Death to not love him anymore.

Hmm... However (I'm assuming you know where this is going) if that were the case, there were two that drew his ire in that regard. Yet one he is on (seemingly) good terms with and the other he hates with a passion...

lol I know exactly where you're going with this. How do you know he hates one more than the other?

He recently had a conversation with one of them and didn't seem the least bit annoyed or angry with him. Yet, in another book, the mere mention of the other's name peeved him.

In GOTG right? Didn't they end up attacking each other?

No. Not that I'm aware.

It's a mystery that'll never be solved I guess.

Also lol at Thanos giving Thor the Surfer treatment:

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Greatest villain in comic history.

This happened in GOTG #6

We never see what actually follows though.

Amen.

Why is everyone acting like Thor used his most powerful attacks? There didnt seem to be anything special aboitnthat particular lightning strike. Weve seen Thor put down worse. I have only seen thenimages on the character ownage thread. Black Bolt used his most powerful attack. That wasnt even close to a Godblast or anything.

Come on, man. There is no way to accurately measure the attack from our fourth wall vantage point, but common sense says it was a powerful attack. Thor knows it's effing Thanos. He might not have gathered ALL his power due to time, but the fact is Thanos said "Thank you sir, may I have another?" By the way, the master blow is said to be Bolts most powerful attack.

Lol it's funny cause Thanos was goading Thor into hiting him harder and harder, since his initial attack didn't even phase him. Even gave Thor three free shots.

No, he was goading him to come down from the sky so Thanos could get to him.

One thing I liked about this storyline is how he utilized his own power to open up a can of whoopass. Man, this would have been so much better with a better artist!

Uh, no he didn't. He even said "Do it again" after the initial lightning blast...

Yeah, Thanos was openly mocking Thor's attacks.
