Except when they do like at the Ministry of Magic battle.

Anyone have an objective argument in this thread? I have not seen a single objective argument from anyone (except myself).

Check the last page at the bottom.

Oh, you mean smoke-apparating. Whatever. Thor smites them from the sky.

This is pretty incontrovertible. 😬

The gate clearly turns to smoke, not Snape.

Which is obvious to anyone who actually saw the scene.

So if that was what the HP movies pass of as apperation(wtf) then they cant do it in Hogwarts so there goes the whole smoking battle strategy anyway.

Looks like DDMs full of shit. OMFG SURPRISE!

Sigh

He knows I'm just joshing with him, we bicker all the time. 😉

Thats not why i sighed lol. Im just BOOOOOOOORED.

As hell.

Indeed, yet they still deny it.

Rob said something about another scene tho. I wanna know the general area of the movie its in. I dont want to watch either of the DH movies again if i can avoid it.

The thing about apparating is you either have a clear focus on a destination in mind or they will rip there body apart. Doing any extensive battle in this form would be very harmful.

I could be wrong in it being in TDH part 1, as most of the films run together for me. Or I could be going insane and no wizard ever passed through a gate in smoke form.

Sorry.

FF to 2:55

😬

That's pretty clear that Snape made the gate intangible. He even flicked his wand at it. And we see it rematerialise at about 3:03.

Still, the Death Eaters would win.

Edit: Seems others have already discussed this.

No. snape is trailing smoke as he passes through it. Not the only example of wizards going intangible, mind you.

Looks more like the gate turned to smoke and the "smoke trail" looks more like smoke being pushed forward/aside as Snape's passing, to me. /shrug

Why would Snape be waving his wand at the gate if he's turning intangible?

Not convinced? K, feast your eyes:

FF to :35, we can plainly see Death Eaters flying right through one another.

FF to 1:13, we can plainly see the Death Eaters going invisible as they circle the bridge.

And, at the end of the vid, as they appear from invisibility, the Death Eater on the right flies right through the Death Eater in the middle.

But hey, people will see what they want to see.

At no time does he point his wand at the gate. He waves in in front of himself, that's all.
