Fantastic Four Reboot

I'm right in the middle. Not enough to say either way. Unfortunately, i'm already biased into hating it just due to reading stuff and how they have hanged things. Hopefully it turns out to be good and all my feelings were in haste.

Honestly if the FF name wasn't on this, just going by that trailer and being into Sci-Fi movies and knowing this was a Josh Trank movie, I'd defo be pumped for it from that trailer.

BTW, this isn't a full blown trailer, but a TEASER. It's not supposed to give a lot away, but for what it did show us, looks pretty damn good.

What? The trailer was 90% scenery shots...

If they have that little of the actual movie to show us, I'm seriously concerned the trailer company thinks the movie sucks.

This trailer was like a combination of TF4 & MoS with less actually shown.

Tbf I think he also said it about one of the Xmen or Wolverine movies aswell; iirc.

Well it is what he's best known for. It's based on that movie he landed this job, and even a Star Wars spin off movie I believe.

Right, so it's option 2, the director and writers failed to get the tone right. What made it look worse was getting released months after Pixar's The Incredibles, which seemed to get the vibe of the 1960's FF effortlessly, and right after Batman Begins, which wowed the critics with it's maturity and just made the FF look like kiddie crap. They got it more right on with the second FF movie, but it still failed to fully satisfy (plus the whole Galactus as a devouring cloud controversy...)
