also the origins of Darth Vader's breathing apparatus dreamy sighhhh

Spoiler:
The attack on the Order of the Canted Circle and the counterattack on the Malastare Embassy are the back-to-back highlights of the book IMHO.

What did you think of ol' Hego as a character?

He doesn't attack people - from what I've seen, he's often very level-headed and mature - and offers intelligent discourse with humility and assertiveness.

Debating can get "intense" at times - but it's supposed to - this is akin to intellectual-sparing.

No one is "bullying" you or anything else of the sort. You're a grown man, discussing things on an internet forum, and no one can hurt you and you shouldn't let things get to you.

Me on the other hand? Yeah, I am the closest thing to an ******* on here - and I do attack people at times; point out where they sound descriptively-Retarded with their lack of coherent arguments, etc.

I probably deserve flak for attacking people - but The_Tempest doesn't.

He's a nice guy, and I wish I could be half as clear-headed as he is.

Also, for a guy who constantly pulls for Palpatine (who can't always defeat every opponent) constantly, he's a fairly brilliant Debater, with how he manages to stick to his points and give a really good argument.

He reminds me of Rampant_Ox and how he always defended Dooku, despite the odds, no matter what.

He maybe a nice guy in real life but I will judge him on the basis of how much respect he grants me irrespective of my views in the subject of Star Wars. His goodness towards others isn't enough to change my opinion about him. In one of the debates, he even attempted to defend an extreme form of insult hurled at me by another member.

I have also commonly noticed that if I am compared or even mentioned with another member by any member who is having a discussion with (The_Tempest), he regards this is an insult to that member with whom I have been compared or mentioned with.

I actually feel that I have tolerated this guy lot more then I should.

Oddly (or appropriately) enough: tragic. I didn't entirely anticipate the magnitude of Palpatine's deception, and I enjoyed Hego's misplaced trust as a flaw in the otherwise pragmatic devotion to [his] Plan.

How about you tell him to man-up? Or have you not read Forum Rules?

Why should I take kindly to personal vendetta like behavior against me?

I have tolerated him lot more then I should.

I have my share of rough and tough debates with many members in various online communities. I am accustomed to such exchanges. But few have stooped to such lows as this guy has.

He's already enough of a man - he's been mature and poised calmly against you for as long as this debate has continued.

If you feel like he's slighting you in some way, then you should feel as though to step up and rise above it.

It's a debate, Man. Show some resolve.

How about you convey to him that he stop ridiculing me as well? Having disagreements with me is one thing; however, ridiculing me is another.

I didn't get personal with him. He did.

People disagree with me on many points; however, only immature ones get personal.

I will see how much resolve you will pack, once you find yourself getting ridiculed time and again by someone. Easy to lecture others.

You keep your defeatist mindset to yourself. Not everybody will take bullying of any sort kindly.

Bro, this exactly what I am doing in my debates. I now spare no moment to catch (The_Tempest) in the act and expose his charade to those whom he attempts to sway against me.

The 'tough guy' now avoids getting in to arguments with me; it seems as if he has hired a spokesman (Rockwood) to do his bidding.

How is what he says to you, "bullying"? You are two grown adults having a discourse with one another.

Others have attacked him in the past, and Hell, I've even ridiculed him in the past, as well.

But he's man enough to keep going, and shrug it off.

You should take a lesson, and do the same.

He is behaving like a child; not me.

He started the discourse against me; not me.

I have nothing personal against him. However, he needs to stop ridiculing me at every available opportunity.

Insulting behavior can be tolerated to a certain level/degree and my tolerance threshold isn't low. However, habitual insulting is not healthy for debating environment and generates unwanted enmity.

good good

Are you really going to force me to interrogate you and get your thoughts piecemeal? Quit being a lazy bastard and TELL ME YOUR THOUGHTS in one fell swoop.

It was an amazing piece of literature. I especially enjoyed the homoerotic exchanges between Palpatine and Plagueis.

You cannot Force me out of the kitchen of Star Wars. Get along with my rebellion against The_Tempest or join the dark side.

Just ignore the thrall ( 😛 ) and let it go for now. If it happens again, unleash hell...

SWL, quit b1tching and let it go.

Just because I have absolutely zero respect for your mind, your opinions, and your existence in its totality doesn't mean you should start the New Year on the wrong foot.

Your resolution should be : How many days can I last without being a douche? I wonder if you could even survive 24 hours...
