You still don't explain how volleys of arrows are going to get through the shields. If the wizards were holding a keep like Helm's Deep they could have laid waste to the entire orc force in no time.

I seem to have missed it, what was your answer for the Dementors considering that only magic can stop them and you have all of three wizards show for the LotR crew in the films?

You still have yet to explain how a bunch of wizards hiding and waiting behind a shield is a fight? Why does HP get to play hold-out-and-wait while the LoTR armies are forced to fight and exhaust themselves like idiots, killing themselves against a magical barrier repeatedly? Scripting is silly.

Go back a couple pages. It's similar to what is HP's answer to a huge rampaging ghost army and hill sized giants made of stone.

The wizards have spells which can destroy hundreds of orcs at a time with no tenable defense. No way for Lotr to defeat the many Dementors and at a loss for the aerial combat the wizards also bring to the table.
