He sure was. Kablamow! Pyweugh! Pow! Building kick! Explosiooooooooon!

Bees are lame.

Just you wait until the world food supply collapses. You'll change your honey-free tone.

Anyway DP, Spidey putting people in danger just so he can crack jokes is WAY more reckless than Supes punching Zod through a building to try to beat him.

I'm sure you would, but then your not supposed to be a superhero. And Superman is supposed to be the perfect model of a superhero as well.

Not in terms of the sheer destruction. And again Spidey was just stupid. He thought he had the bad guy already. Whilst Superman dragging Zod across Smallville through a power plant and into a fuelling station was completely intentional.

Its funny how Supes is accused of not caring about people dying just for fighting in a city but no one mentions it when Spidey wastes time cracking jokes while cops are being shot at with automatic weapons and the bad guys are plowing through cars.

The movie has so many other problems that are far more severe. Sure, Spidey got reckless at times, but compared to how they (Schumacher?!) handled Electro it's a very minor complaint.

Electro was nothing like a Schumacher villain. That's a silly complaint.

Schumacher never took his villains seriously. Once Max became Electro though, he was a completely serious villain. There was nothing stupid funny about him. And he was a Spectacle to watch in action.

I think I have a new favorite Spider-Man movie. It wasn't perfect, but the action scenes were dy-no-mite.

Marvel need whatever did CAP 2 action scenes, to do it in all MCU.
Because every studio FOX, Sony WB, did REAL proper superhuman combat much better than Marvel Studios.
This movie is average but boy this is the closest to comicbook spiderman action we ever had.

They talked too much. Rhino looked ridiculous. Too many plots running at once. Electro was lame(looked badass though)

Those are my complains. Liked it much more after a 2nd view, but Winter Soldier is king.

Hardly. His motivation was still awful and he even said a few cheesy puns. Heck he was playing “Itsy Bitsy Spider” in the final fight when he was beating Spider-man… Eye-roll inducing.

Truly amazing. Every time he went into action I got chills. This was like tier-equivalent to MOS Superman fight scenes. Just amazing.

People are saying he reminded them of the Riddler. The only reason I can think for that is that he was this nerdy clumsy guy who had pictures of the hero all over the wall.

But that's about where the similarity ended. And unlike Riddler, I actually found him funny in those scenes. Once he became a villain though, he was truly bad ass.

As for his motivations though, his powers clearly made him go crazy, not unlike Dr.Octopus from Spider-Man 2.

Electro didn't go ape shit at spider-man forgetting his name, I thought that at first, but he liked being on the big screen and being noticed but then suddenly all the camera's were on spider-man and focus shifted to him...that's when he went all psycho villain on spidey

Which was a retarded reason for a seemingly good man who was also a Spider-Man fanboy to flip out over.

We went from: "I love you Spider-Man and want to have your anal babies", to: "I'm gonna ****ing killz you dead!!!1!" in a very short time; over nothing.

Someone didn't like their spotlight being stolen

loved this movie gets a solid 8 outta 10. The movie wasn't perfect but it had action, and a lot of heart, I think people can relate to spiderman, and I think hes good for kids. The way he handled the kids in the movie was great. If spiderman was a real life person I would say he would make a great role model for children.

Just got back from seeing it. Movie was completely ****ing awful on every level, imo. The most offensive part of it all is that it wasn't even fun. The fight scenes weren't particularly creative and Peter's stunts were just generic CGI-ninja tricks, for the most part.

Unfortunate.

Edit- Oh, one I thing I liked was the soundtrack. I thought it was pretty good.

Well apart from the fact that he thought Spider-Man tried to kill him, he felt betrayed whilst in a state where his powers may have been driving him psychotic. Something clearly was.

The same Max who loved Spider-Man probably would not have turned evil if he didn't have the accident. But there's also the fact that his over obsession over Spider-Man never suggested a completely healthy sanity in the first place. Whether it was the accident, or whether he was always like that, either way he was clearly mentally not well.

I just saw this. I thought it had its moments, but the story sucked. Villains were terrible, plot felt forced and Rhino was a robot.

I will say though, Andrew Garfield is awesome as spiderman
