I agree this could be the end. WB absolutely ****ed this up and their studio as a whole since Horn left has not been ran as well.

Alan Horn then was hired by Disney. Horn currently has Disney running better than any studio ever has been. He is no doubt enjoying destroying WB.

This puts into perspective the miracle Patty Jenkins pulled with WW with the idiot WB execs wanting to cut the damn No Mans Land scene.

Many will get the chopping block at WB for this.

That wouldn't be smart, since the Rock is involved and a writer is already signed on to do the solo film. As long as the DCEU makes money, it won't die out.

I doubt it. Seems Aquaman has been getting mixed reviews with his character while WW had a head start because she was easily the best thing about BvS. If i'm WB, I would be scared to death of the Aquaman movie right now.

I don't see that happening. But it would ironic as hell if Shazam turns out to be the Superman film we've really been waiting for, and he pushes emo Supes to the side and becomes the shiny centre of the DCEU alongside Wonder Woman. 😄

I wouldn't be surprised. If anything, you need to treat every movie like its own entity, as I've said before. The X-universe looked like it was dead, but got rejuvenated with Deadpool and Logan. Same with Wonder woman. And from the looks of it, Aquaman was one of the standouts in JL. Same with Wonder woman in BVS.

JAMES Wan has credibility and respect, along with no baggage. That can't be said with Snyder, unfortunately. I think Aquaman does fine.

It's just another mark against the DCEU, that they have only one film coming out next year, and it's Aquaman. This is due to four different directors coming on & then leaving the Flash project, putting it in the pending box.

But then, maybe they need a pause to regroup after this.

They can't compete with Marvel
Either hire competent writers with a reboot or go back to making one off films or unconnected trilogies

Prepare for the shockwaves of this and I wouldn't be surprised if Shazam happens. Better hope for Aquaman and WW 2 to be their last two ditch efforts.

Aquaman is hardly explored at all in this film and he's by far the worst member in Justice League.
