the thing is though, having whedon won't matter i doubt he'll oversea each and every film... besides they need to fix the tone issues, the editing issues, etc...

Oh, Whedon isn't the new man in charge. The closest thing they have to that, iirc, is Johns, and if he has any real power, they're not going to **** around with any character from the silver age.

The issues with JL are what happens when you try to mash two wildly different types of scenes together. It's a reason though, not an excuse. Shazam and Aquaman need to be on the level of Wonder Woman or at least close to it in terms of competence.

Why? Have they decided not to go ahead with GLC?

Just my guess.

After the first one floppped the plan was to introduce the GLC in a JL film, and improve on the quality of their films overall, all to get ready for it.

But it would just be too much of a risk for them now, given no GLC film can be done on a smaller budget.

Perhaps if they knock it out of the park with Aquaman and Shazam then it might get greenlit again. But I wouldn’t hold my breath.

JL was the start of fixing it. You can see that in how much of Snyder's shit they changed to try to salvage the movie.

Yes but why was Snyder making the movie in the first place? And why did they get to do BvS after the mixed reaction on MOS? You know they even signed him on to direct JL2?

So It’s their own fault they’re in this mess.

SHAZAM has already started pre-production. WB is NOT going to pull it. Come on, now.

You realise they did massive pre-production for Miller’s Justice League before dropping that right? Like they were literally ready to shoot.

It has strong numbers in China and Brazil, but that's about it. Should break 700, unless it totally crumbles. 600 is necessary to break even and make some profit. Totally underwhelming, but not doomsday, which people claim.

I know right? I mean this has a bigger OW than Winter Soldier AND GOTG1!

WB is in a roll with their DC films. And it’s Only The First 5 films! Amazing!

Meh, I still think it will happen.

Overall, the Box office is fine. The last 4 movies did well and made profit. At least none of them flopped. So, pretty amazing, considering the negative reviews.

Probably. But might be in a rebooted DCEU as well. Or perhaps just a stand alone thing.

You really do live in La La land don’t you.

There’s nothing amazing about this at all. It’s the audience crying out they’re not interested in these movies anymore after he poor quality that’s been repeatedly delivered.

Just got back from seeing this. Overall, more positive than negative. I enjoyed the JL themselves for the most part. I'm also glad that they finally seem to have a better idea of who this Superman is going to be. However, I found Steppenwolf to be a huge disappointment.

It's that dreaded second weekend drop to come. How big it will be, will be the final word on this story.

Yep if audiences actually have enjoyed this one it will show with a smaller second weekend drop like there was For Wonder Woman.

In case no one's posted this yet, it's great. I can't wait to see this movie ironically with friends. 😂

Going to wait for the cheap theater, though...

That doesn't disprove that so far (other than JL), the box office has been solid. That's the only reason on why they won't reboot. But, you'll never concede to that. Wondy woman outgrossed civil war, for crying out loud, domestically. That's nothing to sneeze at.

It amazes me how much better Thor Ragnarok was than this film.

Caught this yesterday. Meh. Was better than BvS, but that's not saying much. Some of the Batman and Wonder Woman scenes were okay. But overall, a big meh taco.

It's gone downhill save WW in general. Civil War made more overall but they don't have a problem with profits that's the dceu. WW was in Justice League so when they make better films perhaps they can make more money.

It's so much fun to rub this in your pitiful face. Let the memes continue mocking the laughable dceu.

Isn't the answer clear in that gif/

Also do all of these gifs counts as going through the 5 stages of grief?

That sprint at the end... ugh. Cannot unsee.

Gif is already bad, but on the big screen, in 3D... it sucked ten times worse.
