Why? Have they decided not to go ahead with GLC?

They could have given him that awful mullet too.

They course correct all the time do you think a less than 100 million dollar opening weekend was even in their worst case scenario. The reshoots, the mustache, the multiple directors and the box office disappoiment will obviously change plans going forward. Can't you see that ?

Quite possibly tomorrow but sometime soon WB will be in crisis mode trying to decide how they fix this....

It's gonna be a daunting task though

600 is necessary to break even and make some profit. Totally underwhelming, but not doomsday, which people claim.

Are you just doubling the 300 million it cost to make the film?

What about the one to two hundred million more for advertisement and promotion on top of the 300 million to make the movie?

And distribution as well.

Deadline.com said WB'll be happy if this somehow makes $700 to $750 million worldwide, however they'll barely have a little profit.. Of course, WB is just trying to cover their asses given this has to make to closer to $1 billion to be financially successful

Golgo can try all he wants in deluded fury to deny how bad this is for the dceu. Heads are going to roll. They ****ed up with Justice League in amateurish ways.

just saw the movie. decent for a DC movie. I can't say it wasn't obvious but still surprising that Superman

Spoiler:
revealed he was a tranny
but it definitely explains his fans

Every Superman fanboy said they loved the film and pretend the movie didn't have glaring flaws. It's rather amusing as a marvel fan. I told them for years they just can't compare with mighty Marvel.

JL was the start of fixing it. You can see that in how much of Snyder's shit they changed to try to salvage the movie.

WHAT the hell are you talking about.....

Honestly Superman was BY FAR the best part of the movie. They finally got him right. That made me happy.

I disagree WW was by far the best character in the film. I do agree they got thr spirit of Superman correct he was barely in the film. I do hate him though.

Clearly they did a horrid job.. They are in crisis mode now. they will decide real soon on how to properly fix the mess they themselves got in

Wonderwoman was great but it was just refreshing to see them allow Cavil to play Superman properly. It honestly was fun watching him as opposed to hating whenever he was on screen like BVS.

They did their best with what they had. They couldn't reshoot the entire movie. And they took way too long to decide to not go with what Snyder wanted.

JL has aspects of it that are positives going forward. Things that are better than they were under Snyder. They just have to be consistent in making their next movies better.

i just do not think they will...

The excuses need to stop with the dceu. They put professionals in place and have no one to blame for mediocrity but themselves. Accountability. This was a step in the right direction but mediocrity won't be tolerated.

I honestly don't think they would have brought in someone like Whedon unless they wanted to make changes. He's not at all like Snyder.

I'm just so disappointed with WB.

Why oh why didn't they take Marvel's route? Had half the characters been fleshed out like the trinity it would've been so much better and easier to pace.

I'm just sad the film was doomed from the start by their poor decision making. Granted I enjoyed it and I think it could have been way way way worse. My 2nd fav. DC film(not that I have many favs. DC cinematic verse is shit -_-)

Rushing, and bad leadership.

Something interesting I read earlier about the whole moustache thing with Cavill: Apparently WB wanted him to shave it, and he wanted to shave it, but he had signed a contract for Mission Impossible, and it was in his contract that he keep the stache until he was done with the movie.

WB even offered to foot the bill for a CGI moustache in MI, but Paramount said no.

the thing is though, having whedon won't matter i doubt he'll oversea each and every film... besides they need to fix the tone issues, the editing issues, etc...
