Besides, he was hired for the job way before Paramount got him. So, it was more of him preferring MI over Justice League.

I am not a DC fan. But if i were, i would be pissed off.

I think he prefers not being sued more than anything. I mean, I doubt he had any way of knowing that Whedon would come in and shoot so much new stuff.

Tbh WB could/should have just postponed the release date, waited for Caville to be allowed to shave, and given Whedon more time to save the finished product.

The CEO went ahead with the release date because he was scared he would be gone after the AT&T merger.

DC really exposes Hollywood is all about the politics these days & not about the integrity of their works.
