Justice League (2018)

Well IT is only a 2 parter, and LOTR finished. The even stretched out The Hobbit films.

Doubt Kong/Zilla will be taking in Avengers or Star Wars.

There biggest property right now is Fantastic Beasts. And even that was wayyy less profitable than Thor and GOTG this year.

Wonder Woman is the biggest film franchise atm. But she’s not dependant on the rest of the DCEU at all. Nor are the other DCEU movies benefiting by having her WW Star in them AHEM... Justice League!

How much profit did FB make? According to Deadline, FB was #9 in the most valuable films of that year, while Suicide Squad was #10. However, SS would have done better, if it was released in China.

Using basic subtraction, Deadline came up with the total profit of Suicide Squad: $158.95 million. That means the movie is the most profitable film in the DCEU.

The DCEU is more than just 1 movie.

Yep, because that was only a tiny fraction of the informnation I asked for.

But if that is all the evidence that he is going to provide for his claim. Ok, I can work with that. take that 158 million and subtract the 100 million that JL is projected to lose and that means the DCEU has made a profit of about 58 million over 5 films.

That doesn't sound very profitable to me.

I'm comparing the DCEU to FB. DCEU IS WB's cash cow now. Aside from BO profit, home video sales, and merchandise, I don't see anything else that earns WB more profit.

And JL might actually earn WB a small profit, too.

According to the reports I've seen, it's going to lose 100 million.

600 M (in ticket sales) was break even point. It'll get around 665 M OS. Pretty sad number, but with all the other incentives, it should still get a small profit.
