I'm just skeptical of the fact they think for some reason its the fault of the "Dark tone". Its the fact Snyder didn't have a coherent script and that there were far too many things going on which was why the film suffered backlash. The Nolan trilogy and the Netflix MCU have darker themes, but they've all got better critical acclaim then anything in the DCEU. Apparently Warner thinks castrating the usual aura associated with Batman and making him "Crack jokes", may off the responsibility of a coherent script without ****ing flashbacks/pointless dream sequences. That and the fact that yet again Superman is getting the shaft for the B listers of the team, Collider said he wasn't even or may not appear to the 2nd half of the film.
From the Collider video it seems they're making minor superficial fixes, i,e making the film more kid friendly, reworking aspects of humor, and attempting to "lighten" up the script. I have my doubts Snyder or the studio heads will even try to attempt to correct the issue of way too many subplots/Snyder's botched storytelling. But whatever. I'm not really expecting much from this and even if its better than Dawn of Justice, they're just going to ape Marvel and **** up Batman. But hey guys Flash and Cyborg have a great relationship!
****ing hell lmao

I'm hoping Affleck steps in and guides him, which is what I think is happening. Snyder can still make a good movie in terms of visuals and he has his moments, but this is the JL. I think you need Affleck guidance.
Affleck said it was Snyder's film though, so even if Warner brought him in on some advisory role we can't be sure to what extent his input will change the creative process. Affleck probably had something to do with his own role being changed, but since this is the Justice League and not Affleck's solo outing there is at best a minimal role he'll play in directing the story.
They were talking about Mother boxes, scenes with Humans, Atlanteans, and Amazonians- and I'm not quite sure they're going to get the story correct unless there is some massive creative overhaul. I'm skeptical as **** about this movie

Most people are not interested in this. Reason being this DCEU hasn't built up any goodwill with audiences, and they haven't built up their shared Universe.
Like I said if Flash is so great put out his Solo film first. That would help build up excitement for JL tremendously. And the 2 films are only a few months apart anyway, so wouldn't mess things around too much to delay JL until after Flash has been released.
Problem is though ever since Green Lantern, WB just don't have the balls to put out a solo superhero film without properley introducing them with Batman or Superman first.
