More off topic cerebral emptiness, and more constant bizarre projected homoerotic obsession from the lipstick posse, I see....
Such rage over their favorite fictional character/dragon feeder.
Its not everyone else's fault he was useless and rightly mocked.
Maybe they feel an affinity. 😖hifty:

😂 Now he was swinging the axe the "entire time", the little flips you constantly make. Mai, wtf? You're losing it again.
We covered intent and you drowned yourself with it. You claimed he intended to attack, that implies he didn't actually attack; just wanted to. But failed as per his character.
So in your mind you think Van Zan thought he had a chance of surviving after his feet left the tower? 😂 You're lashing out again, don't be mad at me cos you're constantly cornering yourself in indefensible positions. The film doesn't support you, watch the clip 🙂

Not to mention we're nearing the 2,000 post mark as well. This has to be the most butthurt thread ever posted in the history of the internet. The OP should be ashamed of himself for being such a pathetic dunce 😆
right...im the one who spent 100 pages crying outrage and offense over a humor thread. 🙄
anyway i didnt post this thread for your tears.
...though as it turns out, your tears are very yummy. 🙂

That is undeniable and the fact his intent was clear. You're dense, hurt, unable to process a simple scene.
Wiki supports me not your radical views.

Again, I refuse to believe you don't understand what "swinging an axe" means, so this is more flips.
The only thing that's undeniable is your flips. "Was swinging the axe" the entire time!", "he intended to swing the axe!". Clearly still upset you constantly put yourself in a paper bag you can't get out of.
The film doesn't support you though.

Yes, film and wiki does. Your obsession and pain won't change any of this either.

Are you seriously trying to argue that Van Zan wasn't attempting to swing the axe, even though it's blatantly clear he was trying to when the dragon ate him?

Oh my. 'He intended' to swing is fine. He didn't actually swing the axe.
Film doesn't. Wiki supports the "intended to", which we covered and makes sense.

No. Go back and read. Covered the "intended", which makes sense. He intended, but failed. There was no swing.

So what? Of course he failed, but the intent was still there, and considering that this argument is about Van Zan's motives, the intent is all that matters here.
his intent was to rage quit while keeping the dragon safe from both crashing into a giant brick structure as well as the blade of his axe: success on both counts.

The argument being made was that he swung the axe.
its his way of conceding the point.
he simply doesn't concede and proceeds as if he never made the point in the first place.
from "van zan was a master tactician/sacrificed himself to save the earth...etc" to "yeah we all know van zan was a reckless brainless halfwit, but even so..."
