otherwise shut up.

Did what get retconned? I was just pointing out how Azazel had nothing to do with Nightcrawler in First Class despite being his biological father and having pretty much identical powers.

Do you have proof it was just a mental block? Either way he was limited by that.

Ah Azazel just seemed more lethal. Yeah Knives help with that.

And yeah, it was a mental block because throughout the whole movie, he believed and told people he couldn't teleport where he couldn't see. Then he did it with Storm. And as far as I recall, did Azazel ever teleport anywhere he hadn't seen before or couldn't see at the moment?

I was referring to how you said Azazel wasn't Nightcrawler father, regarding my retconned

but since you were talking about First Class then it makes sense now

also they can still go with Azazel being his father since, Him and Mystique are part of the brotherhood at the end of the movie.

True. But Mystique didn't even know Kurt in X2, and clearly would have known her own son from such an obvious physical mutation.

I'm not holding my breath since FOX is involved

they'll most likely do something different.

agreed

Azazel probably would be Kurt's father in the movie verse. They are almost identical except for their color. But I doubt we're going to be explained about that.

might happen down the the road at some point

The inhibitor collar revealed

"Using the principles of the MDD, Trask’s applied physicists and geneticists went on to develop the X-Gene Inhibitor Collar, a Trask-proprietary containment measure. The fitted device can be worn by individuals exhibiting pathological mutant gene expression and can be used to control dangerous impulses or actions.

Singer said he was bummed by Last Stand's decision to kill Cyclops and that he wishes he could bring him back.

Yeah, because he treated him SO well in the first two movies... ermm

Singer hasn't understood Cyclops, or Cyclops' relationship with Jean, since day one.

Man...your pain must be troubling.

What the hell? They can bring Prof X back from a pile of dust but they can't bring back cyclops who we didn't see die...all we saw was his glasses, that didn't mean he was dead

👆

Byran said something about Xavier moving his consciousness someplace else before he died and then getting a body somehow. LOL

WTF

Getting Cyclops back wouldn't be that hard.

Xavier did get a new body at the end of Last Stand, iirc.

He didn't get a new body per say. He transferred his consciousness into that catatonic guy's body they were talking about in the beginning, and he spoke to Moira McTaggart in his own voice.

Was actually watching X1 again and Cyclops did have a half decent part in that one.

But yeah overall he was shown no respect at all from any of the directors. Apart from maybe in Wolverine Origins surprisingly. Except for that BS where Wolverine can block Cyclops beams with his claws facepalm

Damn I need to rewatch X3 again(yuck) because I don't remember any of that Xavier thing.

^ It's after the end credits.

Also it's good Singer's not bringing Cyclops back. I don't want him back until someone's ready to make him the main character. Or at the very least one of two main characters, like Charles and Eric were in FC.

Could this movie be used to retcon x-men last stand?

Possibly. Bryan Singer confirmed that history will change after this. So it could change in a way where most of the X3 crap doesn't happen.
