Looked pretty cool to me.

Try and convince TH3_V01D that.

Reviews are not looking too good anymore. First reviews in from the UK:

3 stars and 2 stars! Damn.

😬

I don't see a problem with him playing the character, Who knows he might surprise people.

I think it's promising to cast someone famous. Shows Fox is intent on putting more mutants in the spotlight, instead of just the typical cameos they would get in the past.

Hopefully he turns out good last guy was a pretty good Gambit imo.

I remember reading a while back somewhere Channing has been working on his Cajun accent.

Channing Tatum sucks. I remember him in the first GI Joe doing some of the worst acting I've ever seen when he was strapped up by COBRA. They really should have stuck with Kitsch.

he might pull it off...

Channing's acting ability is irrelevant considering he's not the writer or director.

Fox has gotten 4-6 characters right in their entire history of making live action films... what reason do we have for being optimistic about anything they do?

Movie was given an 8.8/10

I'm surprised.

Well, he actually grew up in the Mississippi bayous and other southern states in contrast to Kitsch who is Canadian.

I like Channing Tatum as an actor. He doesn't take himself too seriously, and I thought he was great in 21 Jump Street.

He might be a good Gambit; he's just not someone I would have thought of when thinking about who might play the role.

^ ditto.

So most critics so far have liked Quicksilver. This pleases me. Evan Peters on American Horror Story has consistently been awesome.
