Well according to slashfilm this is more of a Wolverine film than anything else:

It is also a Wolverine movie; no matter how many mutants Fox splashes on the posters, this is the continuation of Wolverine’s evolution from animal to man.
If that true then f*** them all! And I'll just hope to GOD Bryan Singer never gets to touch X-Men again!

Just relax and watch the movie before you judge so harshly. A lot of the time movie critics over exaggerate. I think Wolverine's story is just one storyline of the movie. It won't be the main storyline

Awesome.
Anyway, really looking forward to this film. The reviews have been very positive and Quicksilver is supposed to be fantastic.
I also watched The Wolverine the other night. Good movie that got me all the more excited for this.
I've always found myself underwhelmed by the X-Men films, even X2. I like most enjoyed First Class more than any others. I've always felt they lacked a certain...depth to them. This is more than likely attributable to an overabundance of Wolverine screentime which creates a lack of exploration of the potential implications of humans gaining game-breaker powers and entering a new stage of evolution. The themes are there, but only on the surface. The films seem like profit-motivated popcorn flicks just trying to cram in as much fanservice as possible rather than imaginative films which actually explore the ideas and concepts which are contained in them.
This new one looks good, but I will reserve judgement. Unless it's mind-blowingly better than the other ones though, this will probably be an illegal download for me. Unlike Godzilla, or even MOS or the Avengers, I feel no obligation to see this on the big screen. Like TASM movies, I just don't get that sense of spectacle.
