X-Men: Days of Future Past

So this movie is currently sitting at 94% on RT... Awesome!

Anyway, I've got tickets to tomorrow's midnight showing. Can't wait to see it.

Can't wait for Kaz's rating outta 10.

I live for his in-depth reviews.

Still think Quicksilver's costume looks like shit but I've heard good things about him so I'll reserve judgment.

Will check it out and hope it isn't Singer fan-boying over Wolverine: there's a pretty good chance it isn't by this point.

Wolverine is apparently the main character, but unlike the original X Trilogy, he's not the ONLY main character. There's at least 4 main characters which is how it should be for an X-MEN MOVIE. Plus I've heard Wolverine doesn't get much action in this movie. The main action sequences will be left to other characters which is promising.

Anyway seeing this tonight. Hoping for the best!

As long as Cyclops kicks his ass then yeah. Otherwise I think Pr would prefer Wolverine to have a cameo at best. As would I!

I honestly wouldn't mind Wolverine having a role in the movie. Even a big "Iron Man in Avengers" role.

Same here and I think (am hoping anyway) that's what they've done with DOFP.

But tbh at this point they've just put so much Wolverine into the franchise, whilst mostly screwing over everyone else, that I do think they need to give the character a break for a few years. I honestly think that would be the best thing right now for the franchise and for the character. But we all know Fox will never do that.

Only 3 hours left for me...Im pretty hyped!

I would give it an 8.5

Good film but not epic Imo. I think Mathew Vaughn would have done a better job tbh.

If someone wants to put the plot in spoiler tags, i'd appreciate it. I really won't be watching it, so if anyone could give me the basics, that would be great.

Wolverine is sent back to stop Mystique killing Trask. Because killing him encourages the sentinel program and experimenting on her makes the future sentinels uber powerful. So Charles and Eric needed to get together to put her on a different path. But as usual Eric goes off on his own villanous path and fights against everyone

Plot was good. But I think the film could have used better execution tbh. I felt like it went off track with the whole

Can anyone let me know is Cyclops, Gambit, or Nightcrawler are in this in spoiler tags with a yes or no? I want to look it up but don't want to risk getting spoiled on anything. I'm watching this tonight, and I sincerely hope they are in it. They are my favorite X-men characters along with Magneto and Quicksilver.

And is quicksilver as shitty as he seems?
