From this point... my advice to you is that you don't say ever again to anyone if some movie is better than the other, because it won't mean anything to anyone but for your taste.

What you did does not help to communicate, but I getting you don't come hear to communicate but to impose your words?

Agreed.

Who are you again? Are you chatising me for something here?

So which new mutants would you guys like to see in the next movie?

I made it like 5 or 10 minutes late, so did they explain why/how Kitty had magical time traveling powers?

Nothing was explained when the movie began. Not how Kitty can send people back in time, not how Wolverine got the Adamantium claws back, not how Magneto has powers, and not how frigging Xavier is alive and back in a frigging wheel chair!

They really wanted anyone whose not seen X3 and The Wolverine to be able to watch this without getting confused. Only problem is the people who saw those movies are confused in this one.

Magneto had his power back at the end of X3... And it also showed us how Xavier survived.

Magneto got his powers back at the end of X3. Xavier is shown alive at the end of Wolverine.

Nothing explained it. We just saw them alive with powers returned but with no explanation as to how that's supposed to have happened.

It's bad enough they make terrible movies with everyone important (whose not called Wolverine) either dying or losing their powers. But it's even worse to use that movie as part of your canon but feel no need to explain what happened in between and how.

Edit

F U tirple post

Spoiler:
So......what the f*ck is the deal? Why didn't we get an explanation as to how Xavier returned after being atomized by Phoenix, as well as Wolverine getting his adamantium claws back? FYI, I was pretty happy to see Jean and Scott return to the timeline. I bet that they both will be featured in X-Men: Apocalypse.

As explained in the X3 stinger, Xavier transferred his conciseness to his brother.

From another mother

I'm still lost.

Because Singer couldn't be arsed with an explanation.

They will but it will be young versions played by much younger actors.

LOL What kind of explanation is that?

And I think the GA deserves better than DVD commentary on the very end of credits scene of X3. I mean heck even I didn't know that was his twin brother.

End credits scene in X3:

YouTube video

Remember the very beginning of X3, Xavier was talking to his students about a brain-dead man and the ethics in transferring another's mind into the body.

Them not touching back on it for this new film is weak though.

I watched the movie, best superhero movie of the year
Good luck to Whedon with his portrayal of Quicksilver with the mediocre Aaron Taylor-Johnson (shit he sucked in godzilla), cause holy shit this one's hard to top, he stole the show. I had no problems with his look and neither with the actor when it was announced. Evan Peters is a great actor and he had a great time filming.

Yeah I mean even in that end credit scene there's nothing to tell us that body was Xavier's clone or twin brother or whatever, who also coincidentally can't walk.

And it wouldn't have hurt them to have one line saying the cure was temporary, or couldn't effect Magneto for long because he's too powerful, or whatever.

Weak weak weak.

Either way. Movie kicked ass. I honestly think this may have been better than Avengers. It's certainly on par IMO.

Of course the twin can't walk either, they're identical twins. Duh!

They did touch on that, last scene we see of Magneto in X3, he's sitting alone in a San Francisco park playing chess while casually cruising for guys. He makes a metal chess piece wobbly slightly, telling us that his powers are returning.

Yeah but how? Was the cure temporary or was it just Magneto who the cure couldn't work on for the long term?

Really bad to just not mention anything. They were bringing the franchises together Avengers style. But the Avenger movies fit together in a certain order. This left a big gap.

On the positive side people won't have to catch up on all the other movies to enjoy this one. In fact is probably best they don't watch X3 or any of the Wolverine films.
