No... a dead person is by definition already dead. The process of dying involves going from a living state to a dead state. Something that is dead cannot be killed again. You can render them unable to operate any longer, but you are not actually killing them. Simply terminating their ability to function. If a zombie gets shot in the head, you are not literally killing it. It is already a corpse. An animated corpse, but still a corpse. What you are doing is damaging it in a manner that stops it from animating itself. That is also why the term 'Undead' was created. To group things that are no longer biologically alive, but still able to function, unless they sustain enough trauma. Freddy is actually an example of dead things not being able to die. He is shown to be rendered incapable of functioning within the real world on multiple occasions, but remains perfectly fine in his dream reality. So he gets injured to the point of being incapable of functioning in the real world, sustaining injuries that would be fatal to an actual living person, but because he is already dead, it only renders him temporarily inoperative.
There is an actual difference there. Jason, on the other hand, visibly resurrects from a dead to a living state. Which means he CAN be killed again, because he is not dead when he is active. Freddy is something different. Even if his physical form is destroyed, he is still very much functional in dream world.
People misuse the terms "killed" or "died", to the point where illogical statements such as "you can kill something that is already dead" actually makes sense to them. It's actually a pet peeve of mine, being someone who does a lot of writing work. People use words in an incorrect manner, and then act outraged when someone points out how illogical their statements are. For example, like saying "my computer is dying". No, it really actually isn't. But saying that it is 'dying' is easier than saying, "My computer is slowly becoming less functional and will probably completely break and shut down soon".

realistically your trying to debate that the concept of death doesnt mean people cannot just lie there and not do anything. death just means your living state is termnated and if you can still exist outside that death peramitre then you are more of a juggernaut when compared to your previous living state
