LOL He defeated him so easily that your argument is moot. There's probably several other ways he could have defeated him.
All it shows is that a powerful Jedi can easily deflect shots from and defeat a skilled warrior/bounty hunter/whatever who doesn't have a working jet pack and can't fly.
Skywalker deflects Khans shots and chops his head off. Just like Mace did to Jango.
