If that were true then Thor would have destroyed Rulk with his double handed Mjolnir smash, but it isn't, or wasn't the average Thor that that scan portrays, but an amped Thor. In the arctic, Thor was out for blood when he fought merged Hulk, and we saw how well that went.

Are you trying to claim that Maestro Hulk beat Thor in that garbage-arc?

Rulk? Are you talking about their first fight, or another one? Why would Thor be out to kill Rulk?

He didn't really know enough about him to go all out, and it was Loeb to boot. But he did better in their rematch.

As for "wasn't average Thor", I agree this isn't representative of Thor's average, as this is a CIS off Thor.

The artic fight you speak of wasn't very long, from what I remember. I'd have to see the scans again, but did Thor claim he was out to kill Hulk? OOC, if true, since Thor isn't normally a killer. He cares about preserving life as much as Superman or any other white hat hero, vs anti heroes like Punisher or Wolverine. (Except under Fraction, apparently.)

Maestro noted Thor was going into warrior madness, but iirc that was a fake warrior madness or something like that. *shrug*

I always thought Thor was more Willing to kill and easily came to that conclusion when compared to some other heroes (such as superman)
Him being a Norse warrior god and all.

It wasn't Maestro that said that, the Narrator said it.

Yeah. Thor can't enter the Warrior Madness, but it's a bit of a tall order to expect a 90s Hulk writer to know that 😆

Thor's pretty anti-killing when it comes Midgard (respecting the laws of man and all that) though he will do it if he feels it's absolutely necessary. When it comes to Asgard, he'll kill frost giants and demons and shit, but doesn't revel in murdering and violence.

Unless of course, this is Matt Fraction's Thor.

That wasn't Maestro, it was Merged with a beard. And he won via bfr.

In the arctic Thor was out for blood. He was attempting to kill the Hulk. Unless him saying kill you was for shits and giggles.

The Rulk fight clearly shows Thor giving him his best shot to the face double handed style. It was a loss for Thor either way you look at it. The second fight was hardly fair, as Red was fighting two characters without a break. So...

How do you figure he won via BFR when Thor can teleport and fly from just about anywhere?

The Hulk got the last hit in, so it's a win. Plus he was getting the best of Thor during that fight, which was why Thor went all feral in the first place, because he had to compensate for the butt kicking that he was receiving. That's the way that I saw it. He even says that the next time he falls would be because he died. Or something to that effect.

Yes they have. But this was a direct contest of might, Superman's immovability vs. Hulk's strength.

No one denied that Pre-Crisis Superman was more powerful then today's heralds. It is a ridiculous feat, but Hulk was increasing in might astronomically, and in a few seconds I think not too far off from Clark.

Yea, I guess agree to disagree with that.

Except it wasn't. Weaker characters have sent stronger characters flying in the air. All that scene suggests that a hulk who was doubling in strength by every second might have toppled superman after some time.

Not really. Even if we take that as literally, then superman was hundreds of times stronger than an enraged hulk. This was published by Marvel to boot.

Whatever Rage.Of. Gamma.

Lol at 100 times stronger.

At least. 😛
