😂

All right guys, enough with the personal jabs. Back on topic please.

Don't be sorry.

It said worlds were shattered (We even see it happening below). The force of their exchange almost destroyed another Celestial body not even in the vicinity of their fight, how can it be just written off?

This logic is so flawed and can be turned around on you so easily its hilarious. Hey, since we didn't see Superman actually bench press the Earth, it's clearly just exaggeration, probably a million tons at best.

We only saw the planet's surface cracking up. "Worlds" doesn't means much here since there was only one planet there.

This is why Pak is the best at pumping feats.

Thor is much stronger.

Thankfully the narration clarified for us that worlds were indeed being shattered.

Do you realize how silly it is that you're ignoring the actual narration? Your complaint shouldn't be with the words but with the art being focused on close-ups of the character instead of wide angle shots of the destruction.

He isn't.

Actually the narration is clearly a hyperbole since there was only one planets and it used the word "Worlds".

Maybe it was just a hyperbole?

It's almost like a panel of art is only a snap shot of time and the narration is met to tell you what happened in between the panels or something?

Oh wait... that's exactly how the comic medium works.

Yup. On another level. Him momentarily stalemating Kurse and tossing him alone is pretty much more impressive then anything she's ever done.

Obviously there was more as we saw a world in the distance cracking from the force.

Maybe, or maybe what was said on panel, is what actually happened?

The narration also said Asteriods were shattered and the Stars themselves flickered at Thor's velocity as he flew by. But all we saw were blurs as Thor was travelling. My point? Not everything was shown. Blame the artist not the writer.

Diana restrained Kid Amazo who had all the powers of JLA.

Cracking, yes. Shattering as the narration said, no.

If the writer actually tried to convey that and not use hyperbole, he would've made the artist do it on panel. Busting planets isn't something new. BRB did it in less strikes than Thor here.

Stay out of this srank.

Scan? I don't even remember who Kid Amazo is. I'm curious what you mean by "restrained".

Well lets assume it was about to shatter.

Yup, I couldn't care less if planets were shattered tbh, anyone who's not trolling knows planet shattering is well within his capabilities. I however do find it ridiculous that you are outright ignoring on panel narration.

Hyperbole is some random schmuck saying Giant-Man is as big as a Skyscraper or claiming some wannabe bench pressed the equivalent weight of the Earth.

ill post the scans,

i was under the impression that you said that worlds were destroyed, hence why i used the word 'destroyed'

anyway here's the full fight, took me a while to upload considering they fought for most of the issue:

I don't get it. Where is the world shattering stuff? I just see a moon being wrecked and lots' of flowery language.

He was the son of Amazo. I posted the scans.

Why would we do that?

That's why he's never done it in his 50 years career?

Still butthurt over that? That wasn't narration claiming something and on panel proof showing something else altogether.

it was a narration, we only see 1 world breaking apart (it didn't blow up though)

btw that scan over there from JLA classified 40, it doesn't tell you much about WW considering BATMAN in the same issue did very well against amazo

Tenth scan

Batman does very well against anybody.

That's the one? It just shows a moon cracking. Either the artist got lazy or the narrator was using flowery language and hyperbole.

I mean look at how the narration was describing the origin of Gorr's sword : "Some say....".

the same amazo whose blows were tanked by batman:

and you use that showing for WW?

just to clarify, i dont have anything against you, just don't leave importand context like this so people might be fooled

Mind reposting it? I must have missed it.

Because thats what we were told.

Yup. Too busy fightning High End Beings that wipe their butts with planet destroying force.

I don't have a problem with it but I find it curious how you accept words of some scienctist but don't have problem ignoring narration. You're implying that the art contradicts the narration, which is just a flat out lie. The planet was shown to be tearing apart, you however think because it didn't show us everything shattering, it somehow wasn't happening.
