and you use that showing for WW?

just to clarify, i dont have anything against you, just don't leave importand context like this so people might be fooled

Oh I remember that guy. IIRC Wonder Woman got him in a lock from behind for like a panel or something?

How is that even remotely comparable to what Thor did with Kurse?

ill post the scans,

i was under the impression that you said that worlds were destroyed, hence why i used the word 'destroyed'

anyway here's the full fight, took me a while to upload considering they fought for most of the issue:

Amazing fight. Old King Thor hit Gorr light years away from one shot.

And the Thors traveled to him in moments as well.

Thor the Avenger was able to hear from worlds away people screaming showing good senses.

Good Strength Feats, speed, feats, power feats being able to heal a moon so easily.

Also just a well written fight with great tempo.

it's not comparable, don't know why he brought it up, especially if you consider what batman did in the same issue (like i posted before).

That's the one? It just shows a moon cracking. Either the artist got lazy or the narrator was using flowery language and hyperbole.

I mean look at how the narration was describing the origin of Gorr's sword : "Some say....".

Dude.. His assault on Gorr (most of which seemed to come from Mjolnir pounds) were indirectly causing damage to celestial bodies. Not even going by direct narration, it clearly shows a planet about to shatter along with a moon which was a good distance from where they were located.

The kind of force needed to create that is astronomical!

Phucker even stopped and pushed the damaged moon back together!

I know ure a Thor hater, but this is lowballing of the worst kind.

Where does it show a planet about to shatter? I just see a shattering moon being saved by Thor.

Lol, figures. That's some Fangirl level comparison.

Not even remotely as impressive.

They were fighting above a celestial body that was clearly getting torn apart from his assault. He then flew to another celestial body away from them that he referred to as a moon. Logical conclusion would be that was the planet's sattelite. The planet that was below them clearly being "shattered" from which he flew from to prevent the moon from breaking.

The moon is visible in the horizon in the same panel as the shattering planet. I don't even know where to start helping you if you cant differentiate between the two.

^Thank you! I thought the planet right FREAKING beneath them would be obvious.

How does writer hyperbole apply to this?

Lol....

Thor's just a very strong guy. He's always been. Some folks have done their damn best to downplay it but facts are facts.

That scan?

That crack beneath them? I literally had to expand the scan to see it. So which scan showed the world actually being destroyed?

Thor at his best operates on a level Hercules can't match. The two also managed to throw the Earth out of orbit with arm wrestling alone, which is a pretty considerable feat (cue feat dismissal).[/B]

Wait, this armwrestling match?

They never knocked anything out of orbit. It was just narrator hyperbole.[/B]

How exactly is it hyperbole? [/B]

2 minutes on KMC, and I'm already tired of it by the first thread I read.

Even if the planet is "merely" cracking from the shockwaves of their blows that some insane stuff.

Anyway, Thor takes this.

Doesn't matter. The amount of force needed to indirectly rend a celestial body is astronomical.

Come to think of it in comparison to HotM feat, they weren't even in the planet and yet his blows were tearing that world up! Then u add the planet's moon which should be quite a distance away(going by our own earth's distance to the moon), was getting torn apart as well!!

I mean wtf were they thinking? It's just that retardedly astronomical!!

You realize pre-Death upgrade Thanos and classic Drax did the same thing don't you?

And classic Drax tore apart a small sun and one shotted a planetoid.

Yes I do actually. I keep track of Thanos. Believe me...

It wasn't quite the same btw..

Why are u brining that up anyway?

For god's sake can we stop the lowballing. Like for both DC and Marvel, just let the top dudes have their feats and put the microscope away.

To put the feat in context? It's nice for Thor fans since it's a break from the "Janithor" streak he was on but it's not the end all be all herald level feat. Not even close.

What are you talking about Zop?

Break from Janithor? I'm guessing the only thing you've read with Thor in the last two years were his shitty showings in AvX?

No, it's not the high light of collateral damage for Heralds. Him going toe to toe with Gorr is far impressive then destroying a few measily planets.
