Faora vs Hulk

Started by Zack Fair25 pages

I'd think the pidgeons would be scared shitless if a massive behemoth like Hulk came crashing through out of no where.

I agree. Avengers is great.

1. Avengers
2. Batman Begins
3. Man of Steel

Right now those are my top comic book movies on overall package.

Action wise then it goes something like

1. Man of Steel
2. Avengers

Rest don't even compare.

How's about this reason: they aren't human. Hell, they probably aren't even mammals, as we know them. Presuming that sexual dimorphism works the same way in them as it does in humans is outright asinine.

If I get dazed by a punch, then the likelihood of me being KOed by the next blow is very high. Simple as that.

They aren't human, yet have identical bone structure and strength under a particular atmosphere. This is reason enough.

Besides this, the only reason I proposed the lower durability for her is to keep things simple, as I assumed most would adhere to that logic here naturally.

Would I have been more reasonable to have simply assumed her durability was equal to the feat Kal had shown? I could have, but that would have required me to say that her durability is in all likelihood superior to what the Hulk showed. And that opens another can of worms where we would try to go around prove one or the other. In this case, for the scale we're talking about, it was simply easier to assume parity in that field for the sake of coming to a conclusion in other areas of the fight where things aren't so murky; such as strength, speed and reflexes.

And again, she did not seem to still be dazed when the projectile hit her, she seemed to feel the effects for a few seconds at most.

Oh he commented on the Pigeons before the aim part, I thought it was before, implying that he just roared at a few birds or something.

You sexist prick. Take your macho agenda someplace else. uhuh

Like the games forum. 131

Lol. Tbh, women are physically inferior to men on average, not farfetched to assume it applies to Kryptonians.

I'm bored, I think I'm going to go catch the last showing of Man of Steel if I can make it in time.

Man, I wish I could fly, life would be so much easier.

I have to re-watch the Faora scene. I remember her being knocked down but IIRC she got up and walked up trying to palm the missile all casual like seemingly fine but she was taken out by it. Not exactly far fetch, Nam-Ek felt the gunfire and Clark felt that gas station explosion as well. The refinery blowing up also knocked him out didn't it? Whatever, the sensory bombardment could have definitely contributed to it but no way was she going to shrug that missile off either.

You're correct about all this, and yeah, she seemed to not be affected very long at all. Like a few seconds of being on a knee at most.

She got up all erect and tried to palm that projectile/jet/whatever casually. She just failed.

IIRC her helmet was still mostly in-tact during that part, might have been just a fluctuation that messed with her for a few seconds.

She never fell down when the sensory overload kicked in.

Faora makes him her pet.

The monster kryptonian had already been shown to feel the impact from the automated machine guns of the incoming jet.

He was pushed back, which itself is no big deal, but he seemed to make grunts, acknowledging the force at least.

The big fkr was pushed back, as was Clark's head when the f22 head shotted him jut he didn't grunt. Another important point is that these guys are not used to these type of situations. Clark was knocked out by the refinery explosion, but that is most likely the first time he's ever experienced such trauma. His durability seemed to increase as the movie went on, he pretty much tanked being hit by the train.

It wasn't an f22 that hit the gimptonian. It was another plane, bigger iirc. Clark got shot by chopper's mini-gun and yes he didn't grunt. He was fine.

His durability seemed all over the place truth be told.

I would rate falling from a high altitude through a small mountain and not being ko'd as more than enough needed to ignore a high caliber bullet. Yet he didn't seem to be able to, unless they were from small firearms.

1.Avengers
2.The losers
3.MOS
4. X2
3. The Dark Knight

Yes. Maria Hill was the hottest chick in Avengers. droolio

I still remember the gunfire hitting him in the chest and Superman visibly feeling it. Well I'll try and catch the movie and I'll let you know.

You may be confusing the kryptonian aircraft that fired at him when they were rescuing Zod when he was helpless because of the overload. I have a lousy rip that ends just after the smallville fight(God Damn It!) I don't see any other instance of Kal-El getting shot besides the chopper's mini-gun and the kryptonian aircraft. Well...he got shot by grunts, but they didn't register.

Yea, a mosquito could fly into my head and it may cause me to tilt my head back, even if it doesn't hurt me, just a reaction.

That was definitely the kryptonian energy blast, hit him on his chest and he did seem to feel something but hard to gauge how much he felt.

Faora. Faster, more skilled, and probably just as strong. At least strong enough to hurt Hulk. Plus she's hot... that's got to count for something right?

you got it
