Here's the only hiccup I foresee: let's say the winner of the winner's bracket loses in Match 18 (refer to bracket for numbering). It looks like the bracket has those same two fight again. Maybe if we rotate in all new judges? Or maybe we just declare the winner of Match 18 to be champion, even if both only have 1 loss once it's over.
Otherwise, it's pretty straightforward.

I'm not opposed to this, but it would still need a format for matches. Bracket, round robin, etc. I think the double elimination handles things nicely, without having to dip into anything more complicated.

'twas mostly in jest. The double elimination bracket handles 10 competitors fairly well. And yeah, there's competitive considerations. It wouldn't hurt me as much as some, but might skew things for a few competitors. Probably best to keep you as a judge.

You're allowed to unlock and access abilities, but you're not allowed to directly boost your abilities beyond your amalgamation.
Once the three characters have been meshed you step into the field.
New powers might surface from your amalgamation, but you are not allowed to use power amplification. I'm specifically talking about the super-power that is known as power amplification.
Your amalgam is going to be beyond high meta, so don't worry about that.
